I like it a lot, though I will say I have only owned it about three weeks. Read the book, which is excellent. It explains the general idea behind the deck which makes it very easy to read with.
I have done quite a few readings with it, and have no problems with the deck. You might also want to check in the Tarot Decks Forum.

The Celtic Dragon was my second deck. I still have it, still love it, though I hardly ever use it. For me, it is a very quiet, subtle deck that calls out when it wants to be read. But that's just me :) I hope you like it.

I think it is a lovely deck with gorgeous artwork.
Take your time to enjoy the artwork, there is a lot of detail in it and also some humorous touches. For example in the six of swords there is a travelling human with a small dragon that is also carrying a backpack and on the page of pentacles there are a cat and a small dragon rubbing their noses against each other :)
The deck follows mainly the rws-meanings and it is not difficult to read with, once you are used to the images.

I love Dragons and thought this was a better looking deck than the Dragon tarot and for me it is. I've had some nice readings with this deck, the dragons are beautifuly drawn and interact with the human figures, the Dragons are not creatures of burden like horses etc and so are the main focus of the card.
I still haven't given this deck the attention it deserves but hopefully someday. :)

Be aware, though, that the "celtic" theme is a rather romantic view on a hypothetical past with lots of beautiful, soft, caucasian people that has little to do with archaeological or historical fact. To be honest (and no offense meant, it's just an old-worldish clichee), my first thought was: ah, celtic for americans!
It is not shallow, though. I treat it as a fantasy deck, and pretend it is about Pern (Anne McCaffrey's Dragonrider world), and viewed as such I like it.

I have the Celtic Dragon. It's a pretty feminine deck.
Nice artwork and the book is good. The Dragons are very
chatty and it is the only one of my decks that cards are always
jumping out of it. The readings are accurate. I like the deck, it is
a good fantasy deck.
Enjoy your deck.

I agree with Dead Star in that this is a very "quiet" deck. But it's one of the easiest to read with, at least as far as I'm concerned :D If you want a deck that's not challenging, this is the deck for you.

I've felt a call to go back to this deck a little, recently.
Dunno why, but haven't indulged the urge yet. Reviving this thread in anticipation that I will get around to it. :)

It looks a bit cold to me, so I don't like it that much for myself, but it is a nice deck, with many details you can not see at the first sight.
It is an interesting one.
It is not hard to read or to work with it and I also like the book.
It's good drawn, but no deck for me.
But, find our yourself.

Hi!
Leleii, you are right! The Dragons really are chatty! I'm quite new at Tarot, and I bought the Celtic Dragon Tarot to make a fresh start. I do have other decks, but none of them feel like this one. When I first looked at the cards, it felt like comming home! I almost started crying from relief..
So, now I'm working my way through them, and every time I still find some detail that I hadn't seen before. And just like with you, cards intend to jump out. I never asked myself why, but thanks to you, i get the picture. I wonder what the Dragons will teach me next...
