Does anyone have anymore info on the forthcoming Druid Craft Tarot? According to the website, the creators of the Druid Animal Oracle made this deck.
Here's a link to their site...

I've been looking forward to this deck for ages... And... Uh... Halloween's in October... Maybe I can convince the fiancé to get me a Samhain gift? })
On a more serious note, I am hoping this will finally be a deck that looks into the more serious side of Celtic Paganism and the Celtic Gods (unlike the LS decks where the Celtic Gods look both drunk and as if they have a cold...)
High hopes...

I was very pleased to find out about this deck, and am very much looking forward to seeing it on Hallowe'en or thereabouts. The scans show some terrific cards, don't they ? And I have the Druid Animal oracle deck written by Philip Carr-Gomm and illustrated by Will Worthington, both men steeped in the Druid tradition and very talented to boot. They're the people who've done the Druidcraft. If it's as lovely and deep and WISE as their Oracle-which came out about 10 years ago-it'll be a fine thing indeed.

I'm anxious for this one to be published! Though I am way over my annual tarot budget already this year. :(
I'm not very knowledgeable in Druidism though it does call to me...probably because of its basis in nature and early traditions. The scans I've seen are wonderful and creative. Does anyone know who the publisher is on this one?

I really like the look of this deck. It stirs my soul.
The artwork is full of images that will surely ignite my imagination, and make some memorable readings! I can't wait!

I'm such a dork! I went to the druidry.org message board to their thread over there to see if I could find an answer about who the publisher is. I found the answer --- in my own post! It's St. Martin's Press. I got the info from Amazon b/c you can pre-order the deck there.

Although I'm partial to the LS Druid deck I think my actual druid friends would probably feel more at home with this one, it seems to more closely reflect their beliefs.

Thank you for the info...I'll have to keep an eye out for this deck's release. I did surf over to Amazon but didn't see it...I'll have another look.
I have placed an order for the LS Druid deck but cancelled it after reviewing the scans on-line...seemed too whimsical to me for a druid deck.

I wish they would update the website and give us some more pictures to feast our eyes on. The deck must be almost ready by now.

This deck is featured on the Aeclectic front page, and it's been released (though it didn't show up that way on Amazon). I'm so glad because I hadn't ever seen it before, and it's absolutely gorgeous. I'm mad because now I want it and I just spent a TON of money on tarot. Why do all the good ones come out at once? *whine*
For Yule perhaps?

Hi Keslynn, I have the Druid Craft and it is really well worth getting - the deck is gorgeous and the book is very well written and looks nice too - the print is brown and the paper is a bit cream-coloured so it looks a bit "old".
The deck has been published in the UK but not yet in the US. You can order it from Amazon.co.uk or directly from the bookshop at the OBOD website:
http://druidry.org/
(click on Book Shop in the left row).
And we have another long thread on how wonderful this deck is :D

Don't read it if you don't want to get the deck, LOL.
But since I have this deck, I don't have an urge to buy other decks, can't find anything to match this one.

Yep it's lovely. I'm very fussy about my decks - I've used 2 decks exclusively for the last year - since I got my Druidcraft about a month ago this is the only deck I've used.
Glad to see some images up on Aeclectic. I can't wait to read some reviews but there don't seem to be any yet.

The cards with English titles are of a good quality - not too thin and they have a nice feel too.
I'm sorry to hear the German version is not so good !

hello wolfspirit,
i like the pictures. the german price is higher (35 Euro) than the english version. the cards are tallish and a little bit unhandy.
it´s nice to read, that the quality of the amercican version are better.
now this cards are on my christmas-wishlist.

Hi Steinchen, sorry to pull you up but this deck is British , not American. Just wanted to say as well that the card stock on the British version is quite thin - it's ok though.
