I'm probably the only dork that wants to know what the card backs look like (gotta know if they're reversible!). Thanks pieces for this!

actually that's the one thing I don't like about the Gothic Tarot..... the back isn't "reversable". I can tell if a card is upright or reversed before the card is turned over.. *sigh* I hate that...

For me as long as the backs are not clearly irreversible, I do not mind.
The problem arises though, when I can no longer pretend that I do not see an irrreversible card when I pick/unpick one.

Thanks for the link Rusty, cool site. I have Haindl and quite frankly the backs freak me out. One reason why I do not use it.

since every deck has seventy-cards with the same back, how the back looks is very important to me! but, i don't really mind if they are not reversible.

I think card backs are very important!
A back I hated would really put me off using a deck.

Many thanks for posting this interesting topic!
First time I have ever seen a comprehensive listing of Tarot deck backs. They are fascinating in their own right. Great resource for determining which decks have reversible backs though do not mind if they are not.
Realized I do not usually pay attention to the backs after I only recognized a few immediately.
