Not sure if this is the right place for the question - if not, moderator (s) please move!
For a little writing project, I'm looking for a deck with a specific mood. Has anyone ever read any Charles de Lint? Because that is exactly what I"m after.
I'm looking for a deck with a lot of nature elements, but with also some urban images. Animals would be good, specifically birds like ravens, crows, magpies etc, as well as coyotes, wolves and perhaps dogs.
I have the Crow's Magic deck, but the atmosphere of that one is completely wrong.
I doubt if anything like what I'm looking for exists, but the search is interesting....
Suggestions are welcome!

Joseph Vargo's Gothic Tarot deck has many ravens in it, but mostly as ornamentation to the rest of the picture. They are, however, very good ravens, and shown in natural bird-like postures and poses (cawing, sitting, etc).

The 'mood' would be closest to Brian Froud's Faerie Oracle I think. I can't remember any other deck that's got a Charles de Lint flavor to it, offhand. Definately not the Crow's Magic deck, that's totally different.
The Stygian Darkness deck has crows/ravens on the moon card - it's coming out next year - you can give that a look/see. There's a thread in the deck creator's section or just do a search on Stygian Darkness Tarot & I think you'll find the site, he's got all the cards up on it.

How about the Animal Spirit Knowledge Cards by Susan Seddon Boulet?
I bought the whole deck just for the great crow card that is in it.
Beautiful animal and bird paintings.

Thanks for all the suggestions!
I have Vargo's Gothic, but never really used it - I'll have to check it out for raven content! Although I think it's a bit too bloody for what I'm thinking of.
The Animal Knowledge cards I also have. I can't read with them at all, but I love the artwork. I think I might pull out the relevant cards and keep them close by for inspiration.
The Stygian Darkness - I hadn't noticed that one before, it's great! I had always skipped the thread because the name put me off, but it's a great looking deck, and in atmosphere quite close to what I'm thinking of.
The only drawback is the fondness for hairless, little-girl like women (although that sort of fits with de Lint's tendency to describe all his female characters as 'waif-like', but in books it's easier to ignore).
Oh well, it's by no means the only deck with that flaw, and the rest of it still looks very interesting.
Useful tips all!

YES!- love his stories!
I have only a few decks but the one I first thought of was "Waking the Wild Spirit" and then there is another one- but I need to think about it- {home from a long busy night at work- brain not quite in the right gear}
WWS does not have the 'urban' scenes you are looking for though.

In my opinion, I think that the Fey Tarot is very
Charles DeLint. When I first seen the Fey it reminded
me of Charles DeLint's books.

actually vargo's gothic tarot has almost no blood at all. there are just many occasions where u'd think there would be blood, but it's more of a hinted kind of thing, than something blatantly shown. it's like the opposite of minetti's gothic tarot of vampires.

I'm seconding 'waking the wild spirits' for a Charles de Lint atmosphere, despite lack of urban backgrounds. With this deck, I feel like the Urban world is just one slip-sliding step away, and visa versa.
very Charles de Lint.
The 'Buckland Romani' deck has much the same feel, with more of an urban edge to it, despite the fact that almost all of the cards are drawn as in the countryside, outdoors. Perhaps it's because the people in the cards are living wherever they are, not out on holiday, or something.

I thought I saw some good art cards: might assist?

Maybe searching the web for bird, raven oracle decks, raven art or raven myths may yield something better.
