Motherpeace ~ LARGE vs small

Last week I picked up a large Motherpeace deck for a steal. I've seen several mentions that people much prefer the small over the large, and am curious to know the difference. Thanks :)

The small Motherpeace drive me wild! They're too hard to handle and to shuffle. I'm much in love with the large deck. If that helps?

I had ordered the small ( mini ) motherpeace and later stumbled upon this review which confirms why I had initially selected this deck-size, and would probably be of an interest to you 13thFaeChylde. It should be very helpful to read on and probably select an accompanying book as well. As for me I am just going for the deck and LWB for the time being.

I read the same review so got the mini version. I then went on the buy the larger one too, and I actually much prefer the larger one. The images are so much clearer, the mini one is sweet but you can't see the details.

I usaully agree with Wicce's reviews, but having handled both, I prefer the larger deck. You would think that smaller cards would be easier to handle (and they usally are!), but in this case, I find the larger cards much easier to handle & shuffle. The thickness of the cardstock combined with the smaller size, made the small deck near impossible to shuffle (I prefer to bridge shuffle). If you prefer the swirl method of shuffling, this might not be an issue.

Thanks, all :) I rather like the large deck, having never handled the small one. And I've had the Motherpeace Way to the Goddess book for a long time, and refer it a lot in general. It's good to have the specific deck :) As for shuffling, I haven't had a problem with it yet.

I haven't used the small version, but the large version is really nice for seeing the pictures, and not a problem to handle.
