There is a phoenix on at least one card in the Alchemical tarot (Robert Place).
We also have one in the Justice card of Tarot of Prague, but as it's only in the background I doubt if that's the card you mean.

The Mary-El's judgment is my favorite phoenix. You'll have to scroll to the right to & click on the thumbnail to see it. Very Powerful!

Oh, I'd forgotten about this one! I think I need to take out my Mary-El again. You're right, this is a beautiful, powerful phoenix.

There's a phoenix over the Tor on the Tower card of the Glastonbury Tarot, which is particularly appropriate as Aquarius in the Glastonbury Zodiac is represented as a phoenix with its head at the Tor.

The fairytale like images are not explained at all, but I adore the firebird.

I also enjoy Phoenix and Firebird images. The Chinese Tarot has a Dragon and Phoenix/ Firebird in appropriate areas for the Emperor (Dragon) and the Empress (Phoenix)---Oh rats, just discovered it is ONLY on the card backs...

You can check out all images of the Chinese Tarot on www.tarot.com, under browse tarot decks....but the cartoons don't have phoenixes from what I see
And thank you for the thread...I'll keep my eye on it to find good Phoenix images.

In the Daughters of the Moon deck, the Death card has been renamed "The Phoenix". However, the picture shows a nude, winged woman rising above flames, rather than a true avian phoenix.

I am familiar with the Phoenix Tarot, although I do not see any Phoenix there on the cards.
