Seeking small Radiant RW

A couple of weeks ago, I was in Borders checking out their mini/pocket/smaller-sized tarot decks. I would swear I saw a copy of the Radiant RW that was about the same size as the Miniature Fairy Tarot. "Oooh, shiny! And colours, too!" I thought to myself, then decided to check Aeclectic for more pictures when I got home. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Of course, it was gone when I went back to buy it. Since then, I've been searching local stores & the internet ... but can find no mention of it. Have any of you seen or heard of a small Radiant RW Tarot? Have I lost my mind & begun hallucinating Tarot decks (in public, no less)? Or did I suddenly start looking at regular-sized decks, even though I was specifically shopping for something more portable, & then get confused?

To my knowledge there is no mini Radiant RW. The Radiant is, however, somewhat smaller than the regular Rider-Waite.

I don't think there is a pocket radiant RW deck out there but there is a newer Pocket Universal Waite deck that comes in a dark blue heavy cardboard box with a picture of a run on the cover. ISBN: 1572814748 Does this sound like the one you saw at the store? :)

Thanks for the help. I went back to Borders again & noticed a regular-sized Radiant there, so I'm pretty sure I was just mis-remembering. Phooey! (Why was I even looking at regular-sized decks, when I was specifically shopping for a mini? Such a mystery.)

There may not be a pocket Radiant Rider Waite - but if you see the pocket Universal then go for it. It's much better than the full size version - the colours are so rich. Chris. xx

I just got the TEENIEST little deck I've ever seen within the past few weeks. Maybe someone in that Borders can help track down for you which miniature decks they've recently stocked, and which ones they expect to have in stock soon. I hope so. If you are really searching for an AWESOME!!!! mini RW - check out the Illuminated tarot deck. There is a link for ordering on the deck list. It is created by Carol Herzer. I just ordered my mini and am waiting for it in the mail. She also includes a homemade pouch. I was totally stunned when I saw the depth and vibrancy of the colors. She has mini's, regulars, large sizes available. These have been hand painted, and you also have your choice of backs for the regular sized decks. The mini cost $29 plus shipping and she takes PayPal. With the second Gilded deck I have ordered and the Illuminated mini - I think now I will have the perfect 2 decks to carry in my purse. I found a nifty little digital camera pack that will fit nicely into my purse. It was $4 at Walmart, and will hold the Gilded, mini Illuminated, a velvet cloth, a few incense cones, crystals, a tea candle, and small notepad and pencil. Tarot - to- Go!

Never mind. My mini illuminated came in the mail today, and while the colors are stunning........the card stock is so flimsy I am almost afraid to shuffle it. It is such a beautiful work of art, it is just a shame that the cards aren't a little more substantial. This is probably due to the fact that it is a self published deck, and to keep the costs down this was the way it had to be. The cards are nicely laminated, but just wayyyyyyy to thin to hold up over time. Drat.
