I got the pocket Universal Waite!!!

I just got my new carrying deck today, the pocket Universal Waite!! It's so pretty and I love the box!! The only thing I'm not so happy about is the quality of the card stock and the lamination. The cards seem hardly laminated at all and I think it is very likely that these cards will look used very soon... Other than that, the size is perfect and it's a deck I will probably carry around!! I would love to hear from others who have this deck!

I have it to Aure. And I felt the same as you about the lamination. I guess only time and shuffling will tell if it will wear well. I was going to use mine as a purse deck too. Right now I carry an miniture RWS and a pocket Hanson Roberts. But I find that this deck makes a perfect computer companion deck. I keep it by my side by the computer and it is so handy to look up a card that someone is talking about or duplicate a spread someone is asking about. The size is big enough to see detail in the cards, but small enough to fit nicely in the space by the side of the computer. The box it comes in is so nice. I wish this type of box would become standard issue for all decks. I've compared the coloring on the cards to my standard size Universal Waite and the colors are darker. The blues are deeper ect... Not a bad thing, just different. All in all I am very happy with it. Good choice to publish a Universal Waite Pocket Edition, if the lamination doesn't prove to be a disappointment it should be a big seller for USGames.

I'm very tempted by this one - I bought a pocket Rider-Waite to carry in my bag but I just don't like it so sadly it's left at home. I'm interested to hear that the lamination is very light - I prefer decks with a light lamination - don't like plasticy decks :) Love Sulis xx

I have the pocket Rider-Waite and been waiting to hear about this pocket Universal Waite. I read with Universal Waite. I like the decks when they look worn, but after seeing the replys I may have to order 2 because I use this deck as a main deck. I like the size of the pocket decks! Thanks for the post!
