The Gilded Tarot and the Tarot of Dreams

I haven't been on this board for awhile, and in the meantime have been happy studying my Quest Tarot (and am still happy with it), giving readings for myself and those close to me. But I've visited again recently and saw that the Tarot of the week was the Tarot of Dreams - and I feel very out of sync! Many prefer the more classic Tarot decks, but I've always had an affinity for the digital art decks. The Tarot of Dreams dazzled me - and I couldn't believe it when I found out that it was the artist's second deck. How long has the Gilded Tarot been published - and how could I have missed it?

Are there any other amazing digital art decks that I should know about? Between the Quest Tarot and the Ciro Marchetti decks, I'm sure it's pretty apparent where my artistic preferences lie.

There is also the WorldTree Tarot by our very own Astra:

There are threads about it here..........

Which of the two Marchetti decks do you members at AT prefer?

There are not that many cards ready yet of the Tarot of Dreams as far as I know, but I think I can already say that will be my favourite. It looks like it will have better symbolism and more original imagery.
The Gilded is pretty, but still looks a lot like other RWS-based decks, I think the Tarot of Dreams will be much more original.

Can't choose. They're quite different already so far. I have the LE Gilded and the mass produced. I love my LE best for its thickness.

The work is lovely. Ciro puts his heart and soul into his work.

I will get the Tarot of Dreams. The fact that Ciro is working with Lee Bursten ...that is going to bring this deck to a whole different level I believe.

Sign up and get the e-mails at the website so you can see the cards as they are created.

the English language Ananda--but you probably saw the German version in previous years and passed on it.

I think the two digital art decks coming up that might be similar is the Millenium by Dorothy Krause and Stygian Darkness--the last one is coming out in 2005.

You probably know about the Gendron Tarot already, but it´s one of my favourite decks,(and so is the (mass produced) Gilded Tarot).
