My wife thinks I'm crazy. I've been forced to sell my jukebox and my Beatles butcher cover (see here if you have no idea what a Beatles butcher cover is: http://www.eskimo.com/~bpentium/butcher.html). I've put my 2nd edition Rock & Roll Tarot deck up for sale on Ebay. So, have I lost my job or do I have gambling debts or a drug habit? No, no, no, this is much worse....I now own a 1st edition Rock & Roll Tarot deck!!! And not just any old 1st edition. It turns out there was an overrun of 34 copies and I have #1 of 34, signed of course, by Chris Paradis. And it came in an acrylic box with the jukebox embossed...and...Chris sent me a large vinyl poster of the Lennon Death card with a personalized message along both vertical borders...and...the deck came in this rather large leather treasure chest that now has several of my decks sticking out of it. And why was he so generous...? I think he felt sorry for me. This is one auction that got a little out of hand. Unfortunately, someone wanted it just as badly as me. It was 1:30 in the morning. I had about 15 secs. to up the ante. And so I did. Alas, I am now banned by my wife from Internet activity after midnight. But, what a difference between the large and the small deck. It's AWESOME!!! OK, gotta go now to my new part-time job. Still raising money to pay for the deck ;)

I hope your Rock N Roll deck brings you as much joy as mine has brought me :)
And I hope you remember this the next time your wife wants Manolo Blahnik shoes, or something!

Well, consider this a peak experience. It was really decent of him to throw in all those bonus items.

Ha, my wife said, "That's my floor for the kitchen you just spent!". And I forgot to mention that Chris also sent along three tarot cards for a Circus deck that I think he is working on. They are very cool.

I'm glad you have what you wanted...and I've done trade-ins to focus on certain small collecting areas.
I have an odd affection for the Visconti with the odd variations of the Devil and Tower and funny colorings and its appearances in books.
So far, I've scooped up for small prices (compared to other decks) some vintage-to-just-odd 1970-2004 printings from Italy and U.S. releases. A few have just silly devil and tower variations just for the heck of it.
Two relatively inexpensive sets to go and then I'm on...say lucky number 13, I think...

Oooohh, nice! I've been keeping an eye on this deck, as he creates new cards. I'm looking forward to its eventual publication.
I hope your Rock and Roll tarot brings you lots of joy. I have a 2nd edition copy, and I love it!

Hey Lawguy, I can completely realate, and how cool to get such a special deck, too. I am envious! I can't wait for the Circus & Sideshow to come out.
I have both the 1st and 2nd edition Rock & Roll, I got the 1st for what was then a shocking amount for me to pay for a deck - right before the 2nd edition came out. I have to admit, it was worth every penny to me. And now it would be a bargain basement price. :D
Congratulations!
Not that Ken has ever complained, (the price of my current #1 dream, the Folchi Carnival deck, makes even me a bit faint) - but if he did I would just say the magic words "RC Racing, Kart Racing, Hot Rod."
