The Saint Deck and book arrived today....after long delay and an error on nobody's part. When Umbrae first mentioned it after his trip west, I ordered the deck and book immediately (July, 04).
Somehow, PayPal went through, but they never got the order, so that has been remedied and Ann Trump called to say she finally got my "last" e-mail along with the order and all the other e-mails.
So, it was promptly mailed out.
I have to agree with Umbrae. What I see so far, I like.
There was one element, however, that grated on my sense of "history."
I am named after St. Therese, the Saint, who, as a young nun in France (Lisieux) died of consumption and promised a "shower of roses" to those who invoked her help.
Most people use St. Theresa/St. Teresa interchangeably with St. Therese, but they are two completely different saints/people.
St. Theresa...usually spelled St. Teresa is St. Teresa of Avila.
St. Therese (no "a" at end) is The Little Flower or St. Therese of Lisieux. In the book, they refer to St. Therese, but call her St. Theresa. It's a small detail, but they are two different people and two different saints.
My mom had this major fanatical devotion to the Little Flower, so I was inundated all my life with stories. I have read St. Therese's journal writings. I am always correcting the spelling of my name since it has become common to say "Theresa." I guess it is a more common name than the French version, Therese. (I don't have the two accents handy to put over the "e's."
Anyhow, this was a bit of a let-down.

In the order, she was Sister Teresa (not St. Theresa).

Maybe I'm splitting hairs...but the other St. Teresa is:

Are there links to the deck? A search didn't turn up anything here. Is this LS's new saint deck?
I just ordered Place's, which I'm looking forward too. His angel deck is great.

Names of artist and author are in title of this thread. It isn't by Place.
I got a reply from Ann Trump today re: my e-mail about St. Therese:
Terri,
Yes, we came across conflicting spellings all throughout our research. It is VERY common for even the best of references to misspell her. We have regretted this error...but we were already in printing. Wise and so sharp of you to know!!!! Many of the saints have different spellings that were commonly used. At one point, we decided to put all spellings (and dates) that we could find for every one in the material....to cover all of our basis....but it was edited out. You may find a few mistakes, but I guarantee you will love these cards. They are very powerful. I worked personally with each saint to get the illustrations, (but not their spellings)
My best to you!
Ann

Song Deva, I gifted my friend with Place's Saint Deck and book. SHe's more taken with the book than the deck.
I haven't read the book yet for the Trump/Prioletti deck.

This looks like a 50 card oracle deck. Please correct me if I am wrong from the look that I took of that website.

Thanks, Cerulean.
I did order from Nanta Bagg....but they never got any of my e-mails to sales@ or ann@....I finally got through by using the info@ link...and then they got all my e-mails. They had already been paid but never got the order from PayPal which I placed in July.
Ann says she hopes their "mail" problems are working now, but I dont' know. Anyhow, it's also at Tarot Garden.

It is an Oracle Deck.
