I got my Tarot of Prague today! yeeeeyyy

HI, I just wanted to say I got my Tarot of Prague set today from Amazon. I read baba wondered where all the first edition decks-set ended up so i inform you deck number 2.310 ended up in Chile, South America. The funny thing is I got the set from amazon Germany instead of USA which is a lot closer....and also I got it really fast: I wasn't expecting it before December 16th (yes, Chile is a loooong way from everywhere) and since I ordered it til I got it in my hands only 9 days has passed....maybe we were meant to be toghether...LOL. So far i'm really really enjoying my set, my mind is still swirling from all the beautiful cards, maybe this deck will introduce me to the minor arcana at last.... Baba: thank you so mucho for the beautiful -really beautiful work you have done. The book is also great: it doesn't feel like "square" definitions so cold and repetitive, reading the book feels to me as is a friend is teaching me to see the cards in a whole new way. thanks a lot, Claudia

I love this deck too. I got it in the summer of 2003 when it had just come out. I'm delighted it's found its way to Chile ! I think you'll get a lot of pleasure and wisdom out of it. I got mine yesterday, in Geneva, Switzerland. So Chile and Switzerland are invisibly joined;-) And all of us are now linked to Prague. I must say, I was very excited to get a parcel from PRAHA, which had never happened before! I agree with Clau, beautiful work, detailed and wide-ranging, I envision many hours of happy and deep discovery. And BTW, I like the Memento Mori Death card best, though it is uncomfortable, but a much better representation of Death. I was particularly moved to see that Praha meant threshold in Czech.

I too managed to get my hands on this beautiful deck in 2003, and though I marvel at it (and practically drool over it), I've been reluctant to use it much for fear of damaging it in any way. Maybe I'm being too careful, but I sort of save it for special occasions. It really is a treat to behold. I have both the Tarot de Paris and the New York Tarot, but the Prague deck takes the "city tarot" concept to a whole new level. Superb!

I love my deck. It reminds me of a wonderful week I spent in Prague a couple of years ago. I really want to go back again for a visit now.
