just ordered the Lover's Path Tarot today.:-) It should come in about a week. Does anyone out there have it, what do you think of it?

I'm running to check them now.:-) As for the scans on Aeclectic, those are what first made me want to buy them. I always check it out here before deciding which deck to get.:-) Just love this site.
I want the other one he did too, the Goddess Tarot, but I am working on getting that from my secret Santa at work this year. :-)

My order confirmation brought the good news that
our deck will be shipped to us in early December,
with a few very special extras...

Maybe I ordered it from the wrong place. I ordered mine from an online bookstore (amazon.ca). I ordered it early this morning and it set the delivery date as between Dec 23rd and Jan 18. I hope it comes early I am on vacation Dec 17-Jan 3, I would love to have some time with it. I like your date better though, or course I guess cause the book store is in Canada it takes a while for them to receive it before they can ship it. (sigh).
My place did not mention any extras, wonder what they were(?) Do you know by the way if it comes with the book? I thought it did from the web site, but not I heard something like only the deluxe edition has the book in the package. I did not take that edition, if not I hope you can order it separately...

These book stores are confusing me! LOL it said shipping would take 3-5 days to get here. Then I checked my confirmation letter and it said it will be shipped when order is ready, between Dec 23 2004 - Jan 18 2005, so I guess they do not have them in stock yet...:-)
I can hardly wait. I think the artwork is stunning, AND I have some good issues going on in my love life that I would love to ask that deck.:-)

Most all you need to know about the two editions can be
found "here." The Limited Edition will be of only 400 sets.
Trying to figure out the "personally inscribed" part of it,
we wrote to Kris and she responded right away saying
our choice of words for a dedication by her would be how
it could be done ~ so I thought of something romantic.
Besides everything like with the regular edition, there is also
an autographed card, Artistry XXII ~and a frameable print,
with a signed certificate included with the Limited Edition so
all things considered :) we felt it was the best way to go.

Hi again Fulgour!
Had another little scare tonight, I thought I read on a board that the regular set did not contain the book and I really do want the book. I did check that site right before your letter and apparently book sets have it, and I checked my order and everything is fine.
I can hardly wait. Hope it comes soon!!!!!!!!!! LOL Hopefully before my vacation. LOL I can imagine how much you must be looking forward to it also.
Anyway, mostly what I want to say is it is a truly beautifully illustrated deck,and I hope and know it will bring us both much joy and teach us many new things,

The Lover's Path Tarot comes standard as a Deluxe Edition.
There is also a one-time special Limited Edition of 400 sets.

I'd be too intimidated by the deluxe edition. I just want to use my Tarot. I think I would find that edition, all signed and all much too precious to use. Kris said just now it was for collectors. I can see it is so beautiful and why people would want to collect it though.

Waiting for this deck has been so horrible! I can't wait to get it into my hot little tarotholic hands. Until then, I've been frequenting the website to look at the cards and do the one-card reading.
I ordered one of the special editions, and I fully intend to use it. Probably not for public readings though. Just for me and friends, and I know I won't include the extra card. That one will be special.

know what you mean about being a taroholic. LOL I am sure I am one too by now, and I would imagine it is quite a common occupation around here.
How long have you been waiting now? I just found the deck a few weeks ago here, so it is not that bad, although I am sure it will take over a month to arrive....

Hope that means my pre-order will be coming soon...my other U.S. Games titles on order may make it sometime...well, hopefully before the end of February 2005, as the metaphysical store I ordered it from will be changing ownership then.
