Has anyone used the Marco Polo tarot??

I have looked at this on the internet time and time again, and feel drawn to the images, but appreciate I have only seen a small sample of what is available. Has anyone used this deck, who would like to share some thoughts? I have no doubt I will be purchasing it in the new year but am restraining myself for now. (A huge holiday over the next few weeks is going to take priority). I do like the contrast of East meeting West in the images. It is hard to explain how this resonates at the moment, but it sits well with me. I am sure there is something I am in the process of learning in the moment, and maybe these cards will help me bring together some internal contrasts or conflicts. Any comments or thoughts re the deck would be appreciated though. Davina

Hi, I have this deck but do not read with it. I like it but find it very busy. It's interesting!

Here in the U.S., this deck is labelled as the "Tarot of the Journey to the Orient". If you do a search of these words, you will come across a couple of older threads on it. I have had this deck for quite awhile. As ros said, this deck is "busy", in keeping with other Lo Scarabeo themed decks. Each card seems to tell a story instead of just relying on symbolism. It can appeal to the storytellers in us and often provides fodder for varied interpretations. I need to be in the right mood to use a deck like this and I rarely use them anymore for serious readings. That being said, I find it to be one of the better decks in this genre of themed decks. The colors are soft and the integration of East/West culture (particularly in the majors) is interesting. Dan
