Hi everybody.
I recently received this deck as a gift from a friend of mine. Though it has been "well-loved" all the cards are present and intact. This leaves me with only one problem. No instruction book. I understand that the card descriptions/explanations are very enlightening. If any of you have any idea of what I should do (short of buying the deck again, I guess) I would be quite grateful.
Thanks in advance,
Bailey

Hi, syko_girl! Welcome to Aeclectic!
Publishers that I've encountered have been very good about mailing me copies of missing Little White Books. I've had to ask a couple of publishers, and I think US Games was one, and they sent me a copy with no problem. (US Games publishes the Phantasmagoric Tarot.)
I would try their website. Good luck!
Peace,
Melvis

P.S. - I love the Phantasmagoric! We had a little study group going here a while ago...check out those threads in the Study Group area if you have a chance! :)

Unfortunately, unless you are a subscriber, you can no longer access the study group.
So lovely to have someone snatch your writing from you. I find it offensive that what was free and open was arbitrarily snatched from free viewing.
Kind of like being hijkacked. A good reason not to bother contributing anything in any study group.
[and yes, thank you, i've heard the spiel about subscribing and "supporting" the forum. i don't join groups that arbitrarily appropriate my writing. and it is my writing regardless of where it's posted.]

Due to its popularity, the Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot study group
has been moved to its own board.
Please use the new board for further discussion. Thanks!

Thank you Fulgour, but you are missing the point.
The study group for the Phantasmagoric Theater Tarot was started and contributed to publicly in the **free** part of the forum.
It was moved to the subscriber's only section.
All study groups on this forum are subject to the same arbitrary appropriation of writing and contribution that was originally public.
I do not consider that ethical. It is irrelevant to me how hard Solandia works or how hard the moderators work, or what a nice, friendly place this is.
Appropriating public threads without notice, and with no indication to contributors and the public that this could eventually happen is unethical.
Period.

I'm pretty sure I do get the point, just not what it is...
There isn't an explanation why this group is exclusive.
Right now, I'm taking the position that the jury is out,
since I am not up on what is involved either way

I'm sorry, syko_girl! I didn't take the time to see whether Study Groups was a public area. I apologize for my laziness!
But do try contacting US Games for the Little White Book. The Phantasmagoric is much easier to work with (and get attached to ;) ) when you can read the blurbs by the artist and know the names of the little characters.
Peace,
Melvis

Darwinia, I also think it isn't fair. Even if it really did have to be closed, a warning would be nice beforehand and it should still be viewable to non-subscribers. If I had known it would be closed that soon, I would have kept contributing to it just to keep it open to public.
Syko_girl, are you interested in reviving the study group??? You wouldn't even need a LWB in that case, because all the threads start with the info Graham Cameron gives. There were some really interesting, insightful discussions. I we can find enough people, Solandia will probably re-open it...
