The following page of my web site http://www.ciromarchetti.com/ciro/t_dreams/t_dreams_home.html has some additional buttons. One of which, called "Trailer" opens a movie style preview from the opening sequence of the Tarot of Dreams companion CD.
Make sure your sound is turned on. Those with slower internet connections will need a little patience.

Stunning. Evocative. Uncanny.
A beautiful tease, Ciro... exquisite torture, I think they call it.
All I can say is: it can't be Spring 2005 fast enough.

Ciro-
It makes a great meditation video too :) Between the images and the music, I was mesmerized.
If I'd added a few drinks, I would have been floating }) :joke:

Along with the "movie" trailer there are now several new cards from this project added to my web site http://www.ciromarchetti.com/ciro/t_dreams/t_dreams_home.html
As I have mentioned on previous threads, I do tend to change my mind a lot on any number of features during the evolution of a project. You may note that the newer cards reflect a modified style for the borders, which are now more muted and hopefully now complement rather compete with the images.
Another change is to the size of the cards, which will now be bigger than originally planned, approximately 5.25 inches tall. My aplologies to those with smaller hands that in the past have indicated a difficulty shuffling larger cards, but after having put considerable effort into the detail of these cards, I really wanted to show the images in an optimum way.
Included in these latest images is the design of the reverse side. Despite the fact that the design is not symetrical as in most decks, I intend to print this image up side down on half the number of cards, the result will be that you still won't know if a selected card is reversed until its turned over.

I haven't seen any deck designed that way yet, but I think it is a great idea. I know when I am doing a yes/no reading and you have to reverse some of the cards I find it distracting when you can tell in advance which ones are reversed and which one aren't.
Happy to see you have found a solution to that for me. :-)

I haven't seen this being used on any pevious deck either. So I was a little concerned that I must have missed something obvious. If I have, I'd appreciate anyone pointing it out before I spend the kids inheritence printing the deck incorrectly. Seriously though I'm surprized that what seemed such an obvious solution hasn't been used before.

Personally I think it's a great idea, and very original.:-)

Although, and you are going to hate me for this, :-) I liked the card's original borders better than the newer ones.
I still love the deck though

I was just thinking tonight about reversing the backs of half the cards. I still think it is a great idea because I tend to use reversals. But I know many people don't. I wonder how the people who do not use reversals would feel about the reversed backs (?)
just a thought.

The german Koenigsfurt edition of the Rider Waite has reversable backs, but with a copyright notice in one corner which makes them non-reversable if you look closely. On half of the cards, this is in the lower right corner, and on the other half in the upper left. So, while a lot less spectacular as it is barely visible, someone has had your idea before :)
cheers,

Good lord. I'm actually even more excited for this deck than I was for the Gilded. I didn't think that was possible.

cirom,
is this deck going to be available through normal stockists? Am thinking ahead of where I will be able to purchase this deck in Australia.
Thanks
