What is your experience with "De Tarot in de Herstelde Orde"?

I went to Barnes & Noble the other day looking for another book to help me interpret the tarot. Currently I have the Pythagorian Tarot and I can't make heads or tails out of the interpretations in the book. I just recently started using them and like to have several sources of reference. I wound up buying the book "The Complete New Tarot" and found it fascinating. I went to TarotGarden.com to order the deck, but they were sold out so I went to a Dutch site to purchase them. While I am waiting for my deck to arrive I was curious what other people's experiences were with this deck. It seems to be a little controversial and some people don't agree with the author's additions and changes. Which is odd to me considering all the different types of tarot decks out there. After reading the book I can honestly say I can't really argue with the decisions of the author though I will admit I have limited knowledge in the history of the tarot. I would appreciate any feedback. I am new to this forum and look forward to sharing ideas with the members here.

I had eagerly awaited the book and I've owned the deck for a year...I did not find the deck images or the translation of the authors' ideas in my mix of interests as radical or compelling to me, the few times that I have picked this up. This is the only Dutch deck with a translated book that I own at the moment. My preferences tend to quite unusual at time--given my bent for certain historical tarot designs and periods I do hope that you share your experience with the book and interest in the deck (when you receive it). January or February will be a good time for me to check back on this topic. At the moment my immediate tarot joys are in other areas when I get to them...I am very interested in what others have to say about this deck and book.
