A number of additional cards (about 10) from the minors are now finished and have been added to my seperate ToD mailing list web site. Four of the cards have also been added to my main www.ciromarchetti.com web site for any members here who are interested.
As usual, feedback is welcome, and in various cases I have implemented modifications to this work in progress, based on suggestions and requests I've received.

Oh dear god, what are you doing to me!! I am merely a beginner who has already put the Gilded on my definite wishlist, now this will have to be added too. They are absolutely fantastic and I got goosebumps from just looking at them on your website. This from someone who has vowed to have just one deck!!

Cirom, I saw on your site: "The CD will also contain the option of viewing the Minor Arcana as a Marsailles (Marseille?) styled less illustrated version." I understand you want your deck to appeal to more people commercially, but the statement is rather misleading, because the "less illustrated" versions of the cards I have seen don't look anything like the Marseille...
Thanks,
Spoon

Hi Cirom
These are indeed very very beautiful :)
But by mistake your 8 of swords is called 13 of swords (Roman numeral)!?!

Greetings Cirom!!
I'm a big fan of the Gilded Tarot and use it daily so it would be no surprise that I love the Tarot of Dreams as well....but I'm confused, I have to admit....am I to understand that these cards will only be available on a cd and not as a real deck (in paper, that is)????????? Or will the cd merely be an addition to the original deck?!?!?! The cards are stunning....please hurry up and get the whole deck done!!!! :D:D:D
Blessings,
Cielo

I dind'nt mean to mislead, obviously they don't look "anything like" the Marseille. If I had intended that it would have been quicker to simply use a photocopier.....:-) its just that on various threads on this very topic I've read posts where members have discussed the preference or accuracy of describing the Marseille styled minors as non illustrated, or less illustrated or whatever. The basic point here is I'm trying to satisfy a section of the tarot community by producing an additional set of images for the minors for those who prefer to work with "plainer" "less illustrated" "non illustrated" "Marseille styled" because, as I understand it the "relative" lack of imagery allows them to more easily apply their own interpretations to any given card....Thats why I've also included a couple of sample images, so that people would'nt assume they would be seeing specific Marseilles deck images. Most people seem to have understood that, nevertheless my apologies once again if I mislead you.
If you or any others care to suggest a better way to explain that point I will be more than happy to use it in the future.
For all those who have pointed out descrepancies in the numbering of some of the card images. Thanks for letting me know. I am aware of it, they are corrected, just haven't got round to replacing the older copies on the server.
Once again to clarify. The Tarot of Dreams is a PHYSICAL deck. 78 cards of fully illustrated Major and Minor Arcana. An additional 79th card with a tree of life configuration developed by Lee Bursten, and a signed/numbered 80th card that will be included to all those on the Tarot of Dreams mailing list at the time of ordering.
The interactive CD is a companion item containing various additional features (including the additional set of "less illustrated" minor arcana images mentioned above).

Thanks,
Spoon By "Marseilles styled," I think Ciro means simply that the numbered Minors do not contain scenes with people, but rather, like the Marseilles, show the appropriate number of suit symbols. It's not our intention to produce numbered Minors which mimic the specific floral and pip arrangements of the Marseilles. So, Marseilles-styled in the sense of being people-less arrangements of pip symbols, but not so Marseilles-styled to use the floral arrangements. :)
am I to understand that these cards will only be available on a cd and not as a real deck (in paper, that is)????????? Or will the cd merely be an addition to the original deck?!?!?! The latter... there will be a printed deck, plus the CD which will contain a lot of things, including animated card images, the full accompanying text, screensavers, wallpapers, and more.

EDITED TO ADD: When I posted I hadn't yet seen Ciro's post. So... what he said! :)

All right then, let's just ask the only question really left to ask now,- WHEN will this deck be finished and how soon may we own a copy?!?!?!?! :D
Personally I know I'll be among the first to purchase...and I didn't even know there was a mailing list to sign up on!!!! Oh well....patience, patience....:)
