Elemental Changes in SOL Deck

What effects do you think the elemental changes in the suits of the Servants of the Light Tarot Have?
And Why do you think they did this?

I got this deck as a gift and was reading the book and wondering why these changes were made. Please help me figure this out!!

I've had it far longer than you and I can't figure it out. But notice that the interpretations of the suit cards for Swords and Wands reflect the conventional elemental associations, not the changed ones.
