I was wondering if the pocket size of the Universal Waite has the same stars pattern on the back as the full sized deck. Also, can someone tell me if the card thickness and quality is about the same as the full sized deck and how the coloration might be affected from the sizing down.

The backs have a single 8 pointed star against a blue cloud back ground. The cardstock is good, about the same as a quality pack of poker cards. & the colour seems just as good as ever. :)

Thank you very much for answering my questions. I think I'll put that on my wish list then.

Thank you. I'll most definitely be getting this deck. I love the deck, but I have small hands and the smaller version would be easier for me to use. I love the backs of the big version, but the backs on this smaller one are lovely, too. Thanks again!

I posted this in another thread but...
It seems that U.S. Games has changed the back of the cards. It doesn't have the lighter blue clouds and the yellow star anymore, but just darker blue star outline pattern on a blue background.
I don't know if it'll make the first edition more rare or not.

or at least to have seen them up close? I wonder what it's all about?
