Dance of Life Cards: An Intimate Tarot
by Audrey Savage Ph.D.
In my studies I did not find a deck that directly addressed the psychological issues of self, relationship, health and money that I am always being asked about. An idea bubbled up in me. I approached a friend, a lovely woman (Paula Frantz) who is psychic as well as an incredible artist. Without knowing what we were getting into we decided to do the project together. Six years in the making, we now have a product that is extremely powerful. When we laid her paintings out side by side on the floor of my office, we could hardly stay in the room; the pictures were so vibrant and powerful.

Wicce's guest review by Laura Jackson:
This beautiful set of 78 oversize (3 1/2" by 5") cards is set in a tarot structure, but doesn't fit any of the "traditional" forms (Marseilles, Waite-Smith, or Crowley-Harris).

Hi Kimberly,
I have the deck and the book.
I have a strange relationship with this deck.
I get very unique readings with this deck; information that doesn't come up with other decks comes up with this one.
Here's why, I think.
I just use it. I don't study it.
I have a core group of cards that are like my own personal Major Arcana. When they come up I know certain things. I have created my own meanings for this deck, moreso than any other deck I own.
and the feedback on dance of life readings, when I get it, is pretty great.
This deck appeals to Reiki people, Yoga people and healers in general.
The problem for me is that I don't find it an especially beautiful deck. I mean it has some really intriguing cards, but it is not beautiful. But I do really like it. I started out loving it. Now, I can't say I love it, but the symbols in the deck work very well for me. very well.
So, my advice is to get it and read it like an Oracle.
don't look at the book at first. It is not a very easy book. I've been thru, it browsing here and there, but all it did was confuse me because my own meanings work so well for me, so, why mess with that, right?
And if it scares you to fly without the net, and put the book down and just read from your intuition, all I can say is that it will be very worth it. But you won't know until you try it, right? ;)
Good luck with it, and let me know how it goes.

after reading elf's post, i couldn't resist any longer. i ordered the deck. i know the term "tarot" is not appropriate for it, so i won't even try to deal with it as a tarot deck. it might be a very good "self help / ready to go / not much study needed" pack of cards though...
was on my wishlist, then dispappeared then came back again, thanks to you, guys! lol
