First, my apologies for not posting this in the LONG Gilded Deck thread, but that thread appears pretty inactive at present. Onto my question:
I just got this deck last week, and is it just me, or does the Fool remind anyone else of Dubya??? eeek. Hehehee

It's been oft-noted, but actually Ciro reassured us all that it's a self-portrait. Which either means that Ciro looks like Dubya or Dubya springs to mind whenever we see anything titled Fool.

Ah. Thanks for clearing that up. I'm glad it's not Dubya. (No, I'm *not at all* a Dubya fan, but having the Fool as Dubya would just, well, detract from the deck, if that makes any sense.)

In fact, the only reason I knew the answer to your question is because I had the exact same moment of panic when I saw the deck, and dug through the threads til I found Ciro's explanation... :D
