Somewhere (that I can't find) there was a thread about "what decks do you wish existed", and someone said they wished someone would make a Golden Dawn deck with attractive art. As in, less cartoonish or amateurish than Wang's Golden Dawn deck or the Ciceros' deck. Recently the black and white Classic Golden Dawn deck has been mentioned in another thread.
Well, just this morning, I looked in my mailbox, and a an email was there about a deck that I'd seen a few cards for but the website had gone away. The website is back, showing the Major Arcana, and selling limited editions of prints of the cards. They don't have a full deck for sale yet - that is to happen in 2006, but if you want to look at the cards and drool, go here:

Wow they are quote beautiful. I'll have to go open a copy of Book T and compare (I wish I had a GD dawn deck on hand also). I especially liked Temperance, The Sun, and The Hanged Man.

I noticed there is also a picture of the artist on the site. She also painted some of the characters with the same high cheekbones and dark hair in some of the major arcana figures.
I really liked that, because there's a variety of attractive humans in her majors and they are all in different poses. The site says that they hope in 2006 that the deck will be published.
Here's hoping, because a stunning Golden Dawn style deck would be wonderful.

Beautiful cards. I loved the way she's worked with the colors, and the subtlety in the face expressions. My favorite cards are the priestess, the empress and the hanged man.
Love.
