I see this is now available, and wondered what people thought of it?
I am not a 'cat' person as such, in as much as I don't have any as pets. Is this going to have a particular niche in the market I wonder?
I have seen a few images and did quite like them, but I wonder if using them for readings they would produce in depth results. Bascially I am torn between going ''aahhh aren't they lovely' and 'aarrggghhhh.....lol'
Anyone got this deck already who can give an insight?

Shadowdancer:
Can you be more specific on the title? I don't know of any deck called "Tarot of Cats," but there are several with similar titles, including:
Tarot for Cats (actually out of print)
Tarot of White Cats (not released in North America yet)
Baroque Bohemian Cats Tarot
And there are actually several more, but the above list is comprised of the most readily-available cat decks in North America and Europe.
So -- which one are you inquiring about? Other than their "cat" themes, they're all quite different.

To add my two cents...
Tarot for Cats (OOP) is a set including the major arcana (22 cards) and a hilarious booklet. The authors created a tarot deck for cats, in the booklet, they explain card meanings to the feline reader.
I joined eBay in order to buy this set, I won one, traded it to a member of this very forum and ended up buying it again (on eBay!) from the person I traded it to ....
If you are not a cat person though, I don't think you will enjoy this deck at the fullest. It is hilarious though for cat owners who can relate to their pet's behaviour. I laughed out loud as I read the card meanings.

i have the Tarot for Cats that is out of print as jeannette has mentioned, and it is a nice deck of the major arcana. now trust me on this one, i am a big cat person. So i would naturally have a respect for any tarot decks that involve cats. if you do not have a particular liking for cats (or obsessed like i am) you may not enjoy it as much, like Kissa has said. You may like it, but not respect it to its full potential if you were a cat lover.

That is a valid point indeed.
I do like cats, and often let the neighbourhood ones into the house for a nap on my lap. They come and go infrequently but are always welcome. Even my rabbit loves them as he sees them as temporary play mates.
However, I have never had my own as a pet, so may not have the same affinity. I guess I was caught with two emotions when I saw the deck. The artwork looks very good so I am not knocking it at all. I was just wondering if it was going to be a love it or hate it deck. I saw both sides then stayed in the middle!
