Anyone know about this beginners deck?

Was wandering through a boot fair today and came across a deck of cards. They don't look old. They don't look that particularly great - like one of the beginners decks you find as kits - water-colour designs - almost a bit like clip art, lol.

However, I flicked through for my favourite - Knight of Cups - and he looked so charming, so I bought it. 50p!

Never seen the illustrations before. Can't post scans as not a subscriber.

Distinguishing features -

All cards are white. Illustration is in a wiggerly-woggerly line.

The High Priestess sits at a crystal ball with playing cards in front of her.

The minors are not fully illustrated.

There are horse-shoes within the 9 of Cups card.

The Page of Cups holds an artists pallet and brush. The knight has a present tucked under his arm.

The Ace of swords has scales balancing from it.

Any ideas?

Mystery over - found it here on AT ... it's the Sasha Fenton taro. It's very light; maybe it's a 'summer afternoon in the garden' tarot for me, or somethin that would be nice to read for children with. Not spectacular but quite merry. For 50p, I am not complaining.

Thanks Sulis

It is not my usual taste of tarot, but I did a reading with it this afternoon and it was quite a pleasant set of images to work with. I liked the fiery wand cards, the beautiful green within the pentacles and the airy blue sword beackgrounds. It was quite nice as it took the edge off of my usual readings and was much lighter. The characters all look quite happy. As I said, if I ever had to read for a young person or someone who was a little scared of the tarot, then maybe this one would be a good option. There seems to be little in it to unnerve the querant. Even the skeleton in the Death card looks quite happy with him/herself.
