it appears that the de-enabling thread has failed, because i'm still desiring this deck. i just would like to see a few more of the minors and courts, as none of the places that sell the deck show all too many cards... would anyone happen to have the happy combination of a scanner or digicam, this deck, and the willingness to scan a few random cards for me so i can finally decide which deck i should buy? i'll love you forever if you do!

I show Knight / King of Disks - Virgo, Prince / King Disks - Taurus, Ace of Wands, Six of Swords, and Four of Cups on this page:

and 4 of wands, (in addition to 6 swords and 4 cups) in this review which has a ton of links for better understanding the deck. http://www.tarotpassages.com/liber-t-jc.htm
There's still stuff in there that I'm not sure where it comes from. I looked into whether it was Goetia, and it doesn't fit with the Lesser Key of Solomon for the images that I couldn't find as coming from Picatrix. So I'm still not sure where they are coming from.
The deck desperately needs an accompanying book - and failing that, if Lo Scarabeo could even supply a complete explanation of just one of the pips (supposedly there are pages and pages of notes from Giordano Berti, but translation is not "in the cards") so that motivated users in the English speaking world could go to the sources and put it together for themselves. I'm sure that all the stuff in the image is there for a reason, but it's just completely mysterious what some of the elements trace back to. The hints in the LWB just don't go far enough. With this deck the Lo Scarabeo penchant for LWBs containing little more than divinatory meanings is particularly painful. Again, a plea for posting stuff that's too big for inclusion in LWB on a web page! Even the Italian notes posted on a web page would be useful, because then we could use babelfish to try to translate.
From an intuitive perspective rather than armchair magickian perspective... Even more so than with Thoth, many people seem to get a very dark vibe from this deck. Many of the pip scenes are quite disturbing.

The Liber T is one deck that my mind never changes from - I find it very negative. Sometimes I've posted my dislike of decks then had to post a change of mind when I find that I have grown to like this particular deck.
This hasn't happened with the Liber T - I felt uncomfortable when I opened the wrap and disliked the Minors immensely. The Majors and Courts are ok but they are a watered down version of the Thoth which is a deck I love to use but struggle with the meanings.
I hoped that the Liber T would help me in understanding the Thoth deck but that didn't happen. I find the artwork of the Liber T way too negative to be able to use the deck - infact I never have - I went gratefully back to the Thoth.
I didn't buy this deck unseen either, I searched out all the scans online and tried to see as many cards as I could and the negativety just didn't come over on the scans but its a different deck when you hold it in your hands and see little bits of the artwork that you might have missed on the scans.
I know there are people on here who love the artwork and use the deck and understand it but I can't get past the artwork enough to even start using it.
EDIT
Nov 07 - Two years on from my post above and I did give the Liber T a chance - Negative artwork turned intense and intuitive. I've used this deck for two months now and I've learned, am learning, so much from it. I've been adding edits to my former postings of this deck because none of them were very good but they did reflect my feelings at that time. The Liber T is now my constant companion and I feel I must comment on my first postings of this deck.
