I would like to know the opinions of others on the dragon tarot. My friend is going to give it to me but I don't think I'll be able to read with it since I don't really like unillustrated pip cards. Opinions please :)

Ask for the Celtic Dragon. about a thousand times better. Wonderful evocative cards.

I concur wholeheartedly. The Celtic Dragon Tarot is one of my favorite decks. The Dragon Tarot (assuming you mean the Lo Scarabeo one) I found disappointing personally because I did not like the inclusion of various reptilian and "somewhat dragon-like" creatures as dragons. They did not seem to fit to me, somehow.

I have the US Games Dragon tarot, and recommend it if you're already familiar with Rider Waite and want a RWS-based deck with Dragons. The symbolism is sparse on many cards, but if you already know the RWS meanings you can use it without difficulty.
