I am blessed again with a wonderful deck that I received by way of trade. The Witches Tarot just arrived from WynterWytch and it is not only unopened, but is accompanied by its companion book. (Thank you so much, WynterWytch).
AT never ceases to amaze me because of its wonderful members.
I was just wondering if there are other Witches Tarot owners out there who would be willing to share their insights with me about this deck. :D

Namaste Hi!
I have the witches tarot by Ellen-Cannon Reed,I love it Its so earthy and hopefully going to help me get my head around the cabballa! which I have been avoiding for years , I have used it for readings and found the court cards get really mobile and talkative it also has given me very accurate, earthy and understanding readings, hope you enjoy

I agree with Earth en Lady about the Qabalah--this deck is completely based on it! However, Reed's interpretations, though Qabalah-based, deviate quite a bit from the standard RW or Thoth interpretations. But you shouldn't have any problem with applying her's or your own interpretations. Moreover, I do disagree with the court cards: I find them repetative and unexpressive. And I think that Reed's interpretations are rather odd. Overall, it's a fine deck with pleasing artwork.

I realize that it's definitely going to take some study. :)
Like most decks, there are cards I really like and others that leave me a little flat, like the court cards.
It hasn't been as responsive as I thought it might, but it's probably because of me.
Thanks for your insights!
