tarot deck

Hello and I just joined this forum and I am a fan of all things tarot. I saw a deck in a book Art of tarot by Christina Olsen and its an excellent book. Its Dorflinger deck of major arcana from 75. its a collectors deck and I think about 100 were printed. I wrote to the author and everyone else I could and I cannot get the deck. Does anyone have it? from foolt

yes its a beautiful deck and its really work of art and I saw that site too - its not possible to buy it cause its a limited printing and collectors item ... I appreciate your doing a search. How do you get a icon for your name for this forum? from foolt

Very unusual, it looks like tissue paper collage. Have you tried contacting Jeannette over at tarotgarden.com? She's got access to an awful lot of decks & keeps her eyes out for the collector ones as well. She'd be a good first contact on this.

If it is impossible to buy a copy of the Dorflinger tarot, does anyone have reasonable scans of the cards. The images at www.poker168.com are so small that it is almost impossible to make out the imagery.

The Dorflinger Tarot seems to appear on a number of Taiwanese sites. I cannot read chinese and so cannot determine if some of these sites are selling the deck or merely displaying them. Perhaps some Taiwanese publisher has reprinted it. It seems strange that such an obscure deck should appear on a number of sites. astro.xeyo.com/taluo/ for example has somewhat better images than is on www.poker168.com/
