The Aquatic Tarot!
For any who may be interested in this beautiful water colored clone!
(It's my all time RWS favorite!)
I had sent 2-3 emails,(since 2004)_ asking about a possible publishing date, and price, (to its' author, Andreas Schroter),before she finally found time to respond back this 'Memorial Day' morn!
She politely thanked me for my email, and said she was glad I liked her cards.
But that, unfortunately, there's no avalable date for publication yet_
(due to possible copyright difficulties_ of it being a Rider-Waite rendition!)
...But! ... she IS looking for a way to publish the deck!!!
{~That's it!
Just wanted to share!}

Thanks so much for sharing this, Smokey!! It's good to know that she's looking into getting the deck published. I hope that copyright issues don't turn out to be too big of a hurdle . . . it's such a beautiful deck, from what I've seen of it online.

Honestly copyright issues shouldn't be an issue at all, though U.S. Games will try to say otherwise.
The original line art is WAY beyond copyright, so any recoloring is fair game.

smokey, a bit irrelevant but still... are you sure the creator is a "she" because i had in mind that "andreas" is a boy's name...
anyway, yes the deck is gorgeous, i think many of us would say it is their favourite rws clone and it will get even more fans when it gets published!
thanks for the update,
kissa

Gywnne,
Thanks_
but_ those copyright issues have nothing to do with me_at all. I was only sharing what I was told.
Thanks for clearing up the gender factor, everybody else! ..((I'm NOT familiar with that name!
We have the name Andrea in the states and it is a different gender. ....
...I'm Just glad "he's" seeking to publish it!... Beautiful colors!, aha!..
Annabelle, you're Very Welcome!
