I just read a review of the pocket version of the Universal Waite deck. The one who reviewed the deck said it was very thick card stock and not cut uniformly, making it hard to shuffle. Has anyone else had this experience with the deck?

Nope
I have one and I use it as my "by the computer deck" for quick spreads or to lay out cards that other people have questions about.
It has very nice card stock not as laminated as some but not any thicker than normal.
And the edges are cut nice and clean.

I have one too.
But i never use it. It was a gift and never use it, actuatly only when i read your post i remenber of it.
But i think that is a good deck for trips or holiday, and like Lark said too.
Well, good to remenber that i have one too.

Thanks so much for your input. I'm relieved to hear that hasn't been the case for two of you because I just ordered the deck myself. I was beginning to think maybe I had made a mistake.

It comes in a really cute, sturdy little lift top box too.
I wish all boxes were like that.
If you have the Golden that's the kind of box it has.
Maybe the reviewer just got a bad copy.
I'm real happy with mine and it gets a lot of use and is holding up well.
I'm thinking of picking up another copy as my purse deck.

I have one and I love it! It's edges are fine, too. :)

I have to report that I too have had no problem at all with the Pocket Universal Waite. In fact, I was so pleased with the size and the slipcase box that I quickly bought a second one! The deck is great for travel, or working in a confined area, such as on a small coffee table. I only wish other decks were also available in this format.

I just thought I'd post again on this. I now have my pocket Universal Waite and it's great. The edges are fine and it's wonderful. Not too thick card stock, either. I'm so glad I got it.
NightWing, you naughty thing! Now you've made me greedy by giving me the idea of having a second one for a backup! See what you've done? :) I'll have to order another one now, and it's all your fault!
