Two Reviews for you, I prefer the one near the bottom of the page...
Excellent, underrated deck.

I love it.
The artwork sometimes feels a litte "hasty" but the content is really good.
To me, it feels a little like "cutting straight to the core of the issue at hand" when I look through it.
I've yet to use it for proper readings though..

A link to the review I wrote of it is here:

To summarise, I love this deck deeply. The artwork, whilst looking hasty, still has great attention to detail and often yields up some interesting insights. This deck is also no clone, but a very original and innovative deck.
It's not gothic or dark like you might expect from the title, but really comes across with a carnival atmosphere - well, what do you expect from a deck that is based on Dia de los Muertos? It's a perfect Baron Samedi (Vodou lwa) deck I think.
It's also not just a 'funny' humourous deck, nor one that is just for show. This is a great reading deck, which never fails to give you the blunt, yet philosophical view of the situation. It will teach you to laugh at the inevitability of change and death, and will instill in your readings a beautiful, breath-taking desire to live in the now, and make the most of everything... To make everything a celebration and a festival, and not to take life too seriously.
My hat goes off to Monica Knighton and Llewellyn publications, and I highly recommend this deck to EVERYBODY! ;) })

I love this deck. It is definately not a dark deck, very amusing in fact.
I have a special attachment to this deck due to it's film insperation and it Texas origin.

I do feel it is humorous at times. It still is easy to read. I value it in my collection.

Kiama summed this deck up beautifully! As soon as I saw it, I knew it was a must have for me! Rushed right out and purchased it and have never been sorry! I love the art and the court cards will really wow you with their ability to speak to you. (which for me is a huge plus!) Sometimes I don't get much from the other minors, but all in all I love this deck! And I agree with Umbrae that it is often underrated!

I agree with the death card. It have a "clin d'oeil" that makes me smile each time I look at it. The only drawback is the cardstock but otherwhise, a quite pleasing deck!

I love the backs of this deck. The rose makes a pleasant touch, but the skulls are awesome! The colors really sooth my mind when I give readings, and makes me look deeper to see what wants to be made known. I love this deck. I originally went to the store to purchase Revelations and it was gone. The Tarot of the Dead was staring at me precariously from the top shelf and virtually leapt into my hands and it was mine! Truly a wonderful deck.
