I was once asked by someone if would have sex within the next few months. Is this the most interesting question asked ? Has anyone been asked the same thing ?
(I reckoned yes, by the way !)

Hello,
no, I was never asked that question; but I anyway would refuse to ask the cards for something like that. Another thing is the question, whether something emotional and sexual will happen with this or that person, that, of course, is asked a lot. But if there is no other person involved and someone would just want to know if there will be sex, well, that is nothing very deeply related with destiny, getting drunk and go out to any bar or disco at night might help a lot; all without tarot.
Greetings,
Kimon

It's a question you often run into if you read for young men. }>
I always treat it like a question about romance. :-)

Hanging out in smoky bars getting drunk is no promise of sex. Why do that when you can get online and cruise for sex instead? Get to stay home and not get sex anyway!
Better to not answer questions like this for people.

Young men need to learn the difference between romance and getting laid. Unfortunately, it's easier for them to get laid than have a lasting romance.

Precisely. :-)
That's why I always treat it like a question about romance! LOL

Actually, I think this should be Interesting questions, not strange questions. However, I read the question, as romance, as said by Bear and Tom. Still, begs the question: what if he had said romance, but in his head meant sex. Does this make a difference to the answer ?
Funny how I think this is the only post that has only been answered by men ! :-)

To answer the question seriously: Don't really see how - he still has issues around romance. The reading will address those issues.
Try asking a question about questions that young women ask. LOL Betcha men answer that one too! ROFL

Greetings,
The last time I was asked this (by a female friend). I laid 3 cards out...looked at them for a few minutes, and told her NO.....
She wasn't too happy..So I let the cat out of the bag and laughed...
When I did do an actual spread, it came up that she would be meeting someone in a few months (around Christmas), so we'll see.

Hi guys,
Listen what I have to offer (at least women have also their story): last Friday during our tarot meeting Diana wanted to know how matters will go on with her job, so she asked Chris for a Lenormand-reading (Chris is more in Lenormand cards).
At first the cards seemed to answer the job question but in the second part of a Celtic Cross variation she got a promise about meeting and elder man and having sex with him (the funny thing about that is that she had met the same day an elder guy running a stall on our local Christmas market who wanted to invite her for a cup of coffee the same evening and she thought that she might end up with him in bed)!

Whoo-hoo. Sex questions! My favorite (just kidding).
Actually, I have had people ask me if they were going to have sex soon, and they were all women. Mature women with kids -- you know, the kind who never get to go out and find romance.
I do treat it like a romance question -- becuase if there is any spark of romance, and she (or he) wants it bad enough, it will probably happen sooner or later. When I see the Knight of Cups, oh yeah. Buy condoms ladies. Also the Lovers, of course. But I've also seen it with other Knights and Kings, just depending on their placement. I just let my intuition guide me.
Have fun and be safe,
DeLani

I wonder, does using an erotic deck therefore invite erotic questions?

I think that an erotic deck would indeed be very well suited to the erotic question, due to its erotic nature.
And also it may shed more light on a specific issue with reference to card symbology. For instance, it might suggest various sexual positions or otherwise.

I never thought of that! but yes, it would. However, you would be aware of the sexual orientation of the enquirer. Tarot as a sexual adviser? It's a new take!

I am just thinking of some Major Arcana allusions re. sex.
Tower: Sexuality Transmitted Infection
The Devil: Bondage
The Hermit: Masturbation
The Lovers: A Loving Sexual Relationship
Ofcourse, I figure that there would be a lot of different sexual-takes on these cards. Very interesting though!

So what card would indicate a menage a trois?

The three of Cups of course.

Which means the 7 of Cups is an orgy (er, I assume, being innocent, of course)?

Well, I'll leave the erotic questions to you folks (though I highly recommend the Decameron Tarot, Cosmic Tribe, and Tarot Sutra for questions focussing on sexual positions, who the next sexual partner will be, and advice for 'improvement', respectively... }))
I think (getting back to the original question with some haste) that the strangest question I've had was from a male uni student, who wanted to know what the next 6 months would bring him with regard to his sex life, money, and his car. (Though I think the car was the priority here.) It's the first time I've ever done a reading for a car. (Though I was, I found out a couple of months later, still very accurate.)
:D
Blessings,
Kiama
