hi Mateo06,
I've just had a look at some of the 'magic' cards online - they really are impressive. I wonder if you could use them 'as is' for divination? It's how Tarot started, after all :) But there are /so/ many of them!
Maybe you could contact the publishers and suggest a tarot deck?
All the best,
FH

I was thinking about that, but I doubt they would actually take it into mind. They must get some many request for so many things that they would just ignore something like a tarot deck. They would probably think me insane, since tarot is unaccepted my the majority of our population. Surely they wouldn't even attempt to spend so much money on something that wouldn't please the majority of their costumers

heh... yes, i am VERY familiar with Magic the gathering. i started playing it back in 93 when it first came out.... got the honor to meet some of the artists even.
they are a very talented group.
i doubt WotC (wizaards of the coast) have the desire to do a full deck of their own. not only that, but why create a divination deck when the magic game does soo well? there was talk once, i believe, but it quickly died as the company wanted to release the deck in "booster" packs making it very costly to purchase all 78 cards.
the game in itself is a lot like a fancy version of war. you have health, creatures and spells to throw at your opponet/s. i stopped playing when my friends tried to gyp me out of my rare cards in trades and the fact they always won because they spent thousands more into their collections and decks than i EVER wanted to. they killed the game for me.
i';m sure you can create a tarot deck from the gazillion cards they have. i know i thought about it once... as a theme deck to play against my friends. but then at that point the game got out of hand and it was never as fun as it originally had gotten.
i still have some cards... anyone wanna buy the postage for them are welcome to it! =)
blessed be,
