For those of us who took part in the ritual, this is mine
World Spirit deck
1What will you teach me?7 of pentacles
2.What do you need from me? Hierophant
3.What will our relationship be? 7 of wands
2 7's in a 3 card spread. Tarot for Yourself uses maturing process, inner work, self reflection, mastery, unity within complexity, self expression, awaking, and forsight as key words for 7's in general
1.Keyword is Assessment. You will teach me to assess what Im doing andto make sureits worth it
2.Hierophant-You need me to take stock of my beliefs, looking to different teachings may help, but it is myown relationship with the divine that is important
3.Keyword is courage. You could be something Im passionate about. I should always be strong and hold my truth with you. Youwill assert your point, you'll tell it like it is. The pictorial key saysa meaning of this card is success so it should be a successful relationship

Liliana,
Kayne and Pollux each have their own separate thread in the Your Readings section. I've asked both of them to move their responses here so we can do some analysis and comparisons. I do hope they move to this thread, because I would like to print it out when we've finished "looking" at our cards.

You have some very odd perspectives of the interpretations of certain cards.. you've interpreted a lot of cards... in fact all of them .. in a positive sense, when many have negative connotations.
Are you sure you're reading objectively? That's always a challenge I face when I read for myself.

Aciddragon, I'm fairly new to this but I have built my base understanding of the cards on traditional meanings .. to avoid misinterpreting cards based on intuition I might not have LOL!! This is just my $0.02, but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway in a context that applies to your new relationship with a new deck.
Page of Wands:
Good news, and hopeful opportunities are on the way.. you have a lot of energy and enthusiasm at your disposal as you begin a course of learning.
Heirophant:
This card indicates a spirtual search for meaning with a focus on moral development. You need to consult with those who are knowledgeable on the subject (tarot--these boards) to help further your learning. Pay attention to convention and orthodoxy (traditional meanings at first).
7 of Wands:
It will be a challenge, but you have the vantage point ... even if you don't recognize this. Persist and you will persevere, take it one step at a time (learning the tarot).
Thumbs up here, I'd say.. I know my experience with this whole thing has been frustrating and exciting when I get hit with accuracy from the deck, so just keep trying and you'll succeed.

Ok... moved it :) :) :)
* * * * *
I did this reading with the World Spirit tarot and, if you read the interpretation in the LWB for each of the cards, they relate very well to a new relationship between me and my new deck...
1) What I will learn from you: Seer of Swords
A fairly tactless youth that says the truth despite the consequences...
2) What you want from me: Six of Wands
'Glory' Recognition by others for being successful...
3) How our relationship will be: Seer of Cups
A gentle loving dreamer with a growing sense of intuition and psychic abilities...
I have to say, I couldn't have asked for a better reading from a new deck!
(The moon was amazing last night!!!)

Did this with the Robin Wood deck:
What will you teach me? 3 Wands
What do you need from me? Queen of Cups
What will our relationship be? Empress
I see this as a very good spread indeed! This deck will teahc me how to integrate what I learn into a reading effectively, and could spark inspiration and creativity. However, it does need a bit more understanding from me, and I need to listen to it a bit more. Our relationship will be fruitful, full of growth, development, and good times. Maybe one of Mother and Daughter? (Don't know which one will be Mum and which one Daughter though!)

Liliana, As I was modifying my post as you requested, I realized that I hadmade an error in posting my spreads. Thank you for the opportunity to correct my mistake.
New2Tarot - My error mentioned above might have led to some confusion. The interpretations were deck specific, not RW in general. Thank you for your post, however.

HEY GUYS!!!!
IT'S ALL SO MESSY!!!
Why don't we post them al over again?
Each of us will have HIS VERY OWN post about his/her spread, ok? So that contributions will only be aimed at THAT specific spread, and we don't get confused... PLEASE! Consider this!
For example:
World Wide Consecration - Pollux: New Deck Spread.
And, why don't we do it in "Your Readings"? I think it is more appropriate to post it there, and more people could contribute to it... Don't you think?
Please, consider these things!

Ok, I resign... And if it is to you, I really can't do much :)
OUCH!!! I haven't looked at yours, and I haven't even posted my "Entering The Card" Experiment - this is really the only term I can use. It was just new, and so amazing! I really entered the armor of the Knight, I became the Knight of Swords! :)
Well, I'll save this thread to disk, and sort things out!
And also plan my next post about my entering, ok? :p
