Has this ever happened to you?

I sat down a couple of weeks ago to do my daily reading with me favorite deck, the one that always speaks to me.... and got nothing. :confused: OK, no big deal. Tried a different deck, same spread, and got a wonderful, normal, cheery reading. Try again, a couple of days later. Same thing. Then again... I finally decided that the deck needed cleansed and went through my personal little cleansing ritual with it. It still won't talk to me. Now I'm sad and lonesome. My favorite deck decided not to like me anymore. :( *sigh*

Hi! Maybe this sounds stupid, but maybe the deck needs to be left alone for a while? Recharging that energy, maybe? I come to think about a couple who has been married for a long time, they're so used to each other they hardly notice each other at all. But if they should be apart for a while, I think they would miss each other terribly, and not take each other for granted but really grow back together. Don't you think that may happen with decks we use daily too. We sort of get so used to its energies we can hardly notice it anymore... I don't know if this is making any sense, but it's what crossed my mind when I read your post. Don't panic, I'm sure you'll have looooong interesting conversations again in the future, just don't rush it! Light and love! Jenny :)

Diana -- Good ideas! I've -tried- asking the deck, and it didn't tell me a whole lot. It was also recently moved in the computer room (the quietest room in the house). Maybe that will help. Maybe it needed a little time away from the noise of the kids. *L* Jenny -- Are you saying I should have an 'affair' with one of my other decks? :P}):P No, really, that made a lot of sense. I had a similar experience during a time when I was heavily assaulted by 2 energy vampires. When I did a reading without getting a response, I was shocked. I then tried it twice again, same result (or should I better say: No result?). Things went back to normal when I got rid of the energy vampires so make sure that you are not in the same situation. I've had the same problem once before with a new deck.The cards would not answer any questions correctly at all. I would ask about love, they would talk about money.Finally,I figured it out. The cards came from New York, and they still had their original attitude still with them. Needless to say, unless I yell at them, they won't respond correctly.

This have never happened to me not even with a favorite deck. Try laying your cards in the sunlight for 3 days. Ask the archangels to remove any blocks from the deck. Or try some 3rd eye clearing just with this deck. Imagine your 3rd eye with golden light coming thru to help you read your favorite deck next time or put the deck in front of you while you clear your 3rd eye chakra. Angels are pretty good about clearing up negativity and helping you enjoy a deck that is your favorite. I don't know how feel about angels but they have never let me down especially with the little inconveniances of things in day to day life. Hope this helps.

This started happening about the time I was put on different medications (silly doctors anyway... sheesh...). I quit taking them again and got an -almost- understandable reading. Yay!

Hi aeonx, At least they are not so easily to be recocgnised as the nice folk on your Vampire deck! Be aware, vampires seem to be at your heels, at least at the moment. :P :P :P

Good question. In case I should come across a vampire in the next few days I'll ask it about the significance and in case it shoud leave some drops of blood in me I'll keep you posted about what I got out of it and it out of me. :D :D :D
