sometimes when I do a reading for someone I really dont know my cards wont shuffle right or some cards will fall on the floor. Im good at shuffleing but it sometimes feels that they're tring to tell me something. What do you all think?
Thanks

when this happens to me, i attribute it to scattered energies. i take a deep breath and a few moments to center myself, and my focus. this usually resolves my shuffleing problems. if you really feel that the cards don't want you to read for someone you don't know yet, you could always ask the cards if that's the problem.

I've always considered the cards that I drop as realy significant- they are jumping out to try and get my attention. I look at them, remember them and put them back into the pack.

Yep, I agree with Butterfly. If some cards fall out whilst I am asking the question when I shuffle, I keep them out and use them in the reading as 'Extras'. But, if a whole clump of them fall out, that's just me shuffling them badly! I figure, if the cards have something to tell me, they can find a card ir two to get it across, not a whole clump of 10 of them!

Hi, Menmay!
I agree with Zorya on the energies. However, as my reading almost takes the form of psychometry, I prefer to let the querent shuffle and choose the cards which helps to get their energies into the deck.
If it is just one or two cards that "leap out" I would certainly keep them handy (in the same way that I will have a look at the bottom of the deck to see what the issue really is). They often act as a "key" - for instance: I recently had a querent whose reading was very sad as they'd lost someone tragically and were going through the (perfectly normal) process of blaming themselves and wondering if life was really worth living anymore. Before they could draw any cards, out popped the Princess of Wands. I was using the Spiral deck and this shows a young girl with a cartoon dragon in the background both looking at a staff spouting new leaves: symbolic of a wonder at new life. For me this signified that they would find the solution in the love and warmth their very new baby girl would bring into their life.
Hope this helps!
