Question on Life Card as Year Card

Perhaps this has been asked and answered before, but I didn't see it... When the year card is the same as the life card, does it give extra significance to the card/number? And what does it mean? I don't think I worded that too good, so here's an example: Life Card is 7 Year Card is 7 (It's not me)

What are you defining as your Life Card? I have been doing work in Mary Greer's books but I don't believe I have run accross a Life Card. If you can let me know how you got your Life Card maybe I can help answer your question.

Jewel, When you your birth numbers together, example: anyone born today; 4/19/2002 = 9 when they're in a "9" year, what is the significance? AG

If when you add it together you get a 2 digit number less than 22 thats a personality card, adding those 2 digits together geta soul card, I believe you are referring to soul cards :) I think it designates a year of especial spiritual growth :THP

AG: I understand you to be referrring to what Angeles Arrien & Mary K Greer called Lifetime Cards. They are represented by the Personality, Soul & Shadow Cards. Any year in which any of these cards appear indicates the opportunity to work with the energy of the card. The challenges or choices presented may be seen as the expressions of the card as well as manifestations of particular concerns.

RedWood: Check out the thread "The Shadow Card" located on page 2 of this forum. Lifetime Cards are based on the work in Tarot of Angeles Arrien & that of Mary K Greer. Greer's books "Tarot for Yourself" & "Tarot Constellations" discuss the concepts, especially in the 2nd book.
