Has anyone read Discovering yourself through Tarot by Rose Gwain . I am thinking of ordering it but value your thoughts first. I am looking for a good informative book about archtypes and physicology

No, I haven't read it, but I do use the Tarot for self discovery. Usually, when my life seems to be going in an up and down motion, I use that Tarot to see how others see me. It allows me to change if the cards seem negative.

I dunno if I need a book on it. The cards yelled at me last night to get off my butt & get back to work.........I did a general Celtic Cross layout & it all pointed out that I'm procrastinating too much on my home business & need to get my ass in gear. We seem to have a pretty good working relationship so far. As to WHO I am--the card meditations show up a lot of that.

i have that book and went through it twice. it is more oriented toward self-helpand personal work, rather than general coverage of the jungian archetypes. for what you are looking for, i suggest taking a gander at hajo banzhaf's "tarot and the journey of the hero"--that book ROCKS! there are several books out there geared toward the jungian perspective in tarot; you'll probably want several, anyway. definitely do some research. :)
