I am doing some research on the debate of some decks to switch the numerical positions of the Strength and Justice trump cards. I was just wondering what other people thought and which order has worked better for you? Any thoughts and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

You may also want to check the following two threads which discuss the issue. The most recent is this thread, the other is this earlier thread.
Also, in a short while, the Study Group on the Marseilles (only a few of us contribute at this stage) will be discussing VIII Strength, and I'm sure that the numbering variations will be discussed there... if you wish to contribute, I'm certain we are all looking forward to your comments and queries.

Personally, putting Justice at XI works better for me, but I have what is probably a novel interpretation of that card. I think of it as a kind of hinge that divides the trumps into halves, with I-X on one side and XII-XXI on the other. Both ten-card cycles end with a wheel.
But it's worth noting that historically, the positions of the three virtues, Justice, Fortitude, and Temperance, have been the most unstable of any of the trumps. Most of the big cards have remained fairly consistent in maintaining their places in the trump order over the centuries, but these three have migrated all over the place.
