Tarot and the Numerology

Hey All! As I am beginning to do more readings for other people, I find myself more and more attracted to the numerology to get an idea of what the querent is like. I was wondering, how does one go about calculating one's numerology for their name, and their birthdate?? I think with birthdate, you just add up the numbers, but what do the numbers mean?? Also, is there any books that you would reccomend?? Thanks All!

"choice-centered tarot" by gail fairfield might be a good resource for you phoenix. it's a numerology based tarot system. it was reprinted recently under the name "everyday tarot" i think.
