I have been purchasing some programs & have several. So far the best one has been *Tarot Magic*. I recently bought *Cyber Tarot* , *Virtual Tarot* , *Expert Tarot*, & *World of Tarot*. I would welcome some feedback on these programs . Thanks.

i have the "mystic Meg" tarot on a CD and was really disappointed. i have seen some of the cards on-line and liked the art-work but on the screen those cards are so small i can hardly make them out at all.
the interactive part as in the spreads etc is ok. but i could very well do without her breathless voice. she sounds like she just ran up a hill and had a cig on top of that!
for computer-tarot i would recommend that site instead - tarot.com
some say it is cheesy and they take work from real readers with their cocky advertising - but i like their deck-selection, their interpretations and selection of spreads.
it is quite a hazzle to go to their site though - but from what i hear they got a CD out with quite a neat selection of decks and spreads.
if i were to get any kind of interactive program i would choose that one (or perhaps their i-ching cd instead)

I'm not really a big fan of tarot CD's, I'm a hands on person and like to handle a deck, I've tried a few online readings and find I can't relate to them but saying that if your happy using tarot CD's then they must be working for you. :)

I am no fan of tarot Cd's either. I sometimes do a tarot reading with facade.com, usually when I have the need for a reading in office.

i doubt any of us here would prefer a CD-reading before a "real" hands-on reading.
but a good program can have it's merits too.
i once tried a program where you could record your readings and save them and get to choose the deck. it was only a trial program thought so the only deck they had was some awful version they did themselves.
but i liked the idea.
like a computerized tarot-journal.

I was amazed at the Cyber tarot progrm someone shared
w/me years ago. . .and yes, Jema.
all the Cyber tarot cards themselves (the C T deck) are scarier than anything Crowley ever had a nice dream about. . .
but then I get freaked out by the Voyager Tarot too
I downloaded the Cyber tarot free - and the program is pretty nice.
the version given me = for windws
whut I got= Mac
best part besides what you mentioned (tarot j-nal)
the ability to click and drag and label AND save your own spreads.
the shareware said I could import a deck
So I am still trying to import Kayne's- 21st cent tarot - but I think
it must be patented. . .as it should be
anyone who's missed it-----check the hairdresser and her designated realm-
and tell me it is not a thematically and artistically unified deck- the techno themes and the more human cards are all drawn in really well done line
and colour.
No one who can say the Voyager or Cyber Tarot decks are really tarot
could pass on this one-
photo decks ( not my deal, I admit) are too easy. . .
The 21st captures. . . ."the horror, the horror. . ." and the
heart of darkness. . .
of our time.
But the tarot on computer???
I do not have one clue why, but it works.
For me.
Especially for designing sprds.

I do prefer the real cards too but I wanted a program that I could add more indepth interuptations to etc. I love the journal aspect best as it shows the cards as they were laid out on so & so date. I guess I wanted the speed of print offs after a reading if I programed in what I just read in person. So many want to be sure they don't forget anything. Tape recorders make me feel self conscious. Just my Aquarius nature wanting to blend old with new . That mythical someday when I get it all together perfectly.
