lovely, is it collace? i see the word:) observe. i like the transparant figures in the card - like in layers.

Thankyou!! Yep, i'm using photoshop with lots of layers and different levels of transparency. Alot of people don't like words on cards, but I do! So I am so glad you like that Kiama! Jem yes! you were very "observant" to put those words together lol. Lin

Jema, Are you thinking calouge? I can't find the spelling for the word. UHG! Faerie Lin, I see that the rock the fool is teetering on looks like a monkey face, monkeys sure can be foolish. Was this intentional as well?

Thanks Maan! :) I also have the high priestess done, the other cards I've done have completely came out in totally different styles so I really need to work on "sticking to a certain idea" lol Thanks Debins! I so suck at explaining things (never count on me to tell a joke right, I'll mess it all up!) but the sunflower is there just for pointing out that beautiful things can/may happen if you act in a fool-like way. And the leaf kinda expands on that, how a leaf when it falls, seems to be having fun in its own little world, landing softly on the ground. And yep the guardian angel. LOL Merri Thanks! Great job, Faerie Lin! Aren't layers wonderful? I just started working with them in the last year or so, and it's just so much fun. I never considered myself an artist, but there is so much you can do with computer software now that I can fake it pretty well! ;) I think you'll have a lot of fun creating this deck! faerie lin-- i just posted in another thread that i didn't like photo generated cards :| . oh well, another myth shattered :) i think the difference is that there is a delicacy to yours that others miss. and a unity. love the fractured word. i got (s)obs (the tragic side of the clown-- dropping down from the freedom of the spirit to the limiting of the material), and (sw)erve (turning from the abyss), (s)erve (our ultimate purpose) or (n)erve (the guts to jump). Never saw observe (shows how much i'm seeing :D ) your card is what i consider to be true art. it's a communication wherein the observe(r)-- THAT word again!!-- sees more than the artist intended. so where's the others? Good God steve! Your post has left me speechless! You are so poetic! I truly think you all would do a WAY BETTER job at writing a book to go along with my deck than I ever could. Its so funny (but cool as fu*k) to see that you all can see so much more than I can in my own art! My husband didn't see observe either. He thought of obsession when he saw 'obs'. I absolutely love the fact that some of ya'll are thinking of other words from the fractured words. I want to show my High Priestess card, but I don't think its gonna get as many good comments as my fool card lol. I should have posted my High Priestess card first lol, I am such a scaredy cat. This fool is so fresh and wonderful! He's cute, he's dancing as he's falling, and yeah - I love the monkey! (good catch lunalafey!) One of the things I love about the tarot is that it has the majors, and then four seperate suits. Please don't feel you have to limit yourself to this style because we love it soooo much. You obviously HAVE to complete this deck (well, cause you'll get rich from all of us snatching it up!) But your natural unconcious state produced this piece, and look at how it has brought so many aspects up for others you didn't even consciously intend! Don't worry about the H.Priestess not being as good... let the cards tell you what to do... I'm sure they, and we, will all be pleased. (ps. i love the fools shoes!) napaea

I will definately start substituting more tv time for tarot designing time lol, 'cause at this rate the rest of the cards will be coming at such a slow pace lol.
