No, sorry. I have read one of his other books though, and recall that I thought it was good, he has a personal and easy-to-follow way of writing, and a pretty fuss-free approach, if you can say that.
The book I read was a general beginner's Tarot book (don't remember the title), not about spells at all.
Hope someone can give you some input on the right book, I myself only saw it the other day, but I have my head set for the Janina Renee book, so many others seem to like it!
Kazz: I'm definitely the wrong person to answer your question, but the way I have understood it, tarot spells are about using the symbols of the Tarot as a focus for magical (or magickal?) spells. The cards help you focus your uncouncious mind on what you want to achieve, and thus help you actually create this with the power of your mind. (This sounds very corny. I blame it on my tourist English...!! :D)

I believe some where there was a really good thread about tarot spells i will try and find it :)
If not i can pm you it in dutch....its is to complecated for me to try and explain it in english but maybe someone else can...

I love that book - it was the first tarot spell book I got, actually. I like the visual information - it helped to see how a spell was actually laid out instead of just reading the words. Of course, I don't have all those pretty candles and bottles...
I always seem to add tarot cards to any spells I do. I'm in the midst of one now, a 2 week 'weight loss' candle spell, more of an affirmation really. Along with the candle and the affirmation, I added 3 cards for meditation purposes. They really help me focus. I just picked cards that felt right from the Robin Wood deck. The Ace of Wands (just for the visual - it's nice and thin :) , the magician (gets things done), and the 6 of wands (victory).

I got my Tarot Spells book by Janina Renee today. I will let you know what I think of it when I find the time to read it (so many interesting books, so little time... ;)).

I have done only one of these out of Janina Renee's book. The spell I did was to try to smooth over an argument I had with my ex husband...it worked, temporarily anyway. I used my Witches' Tarot to perform the spell, along with appropriately colored candles, gemstones, and pictures of us. At the peak of the spell/incantation, all the candles blazed up really high and kinda freaked me out.
I copied other spells down out of the book before giving it back to the friend who lent it to me....but I ended up modifying a lot of the spells to suit me better and to make them more personal for me.
I haven't had a chance to try any others out yet though...would love to hear from others who have done tarot spells that seemed to work!!!
