this weekend when i went to winnipeg i saw scoobydoo,
star wars,
spiderman (all blessed good movies :O)
and i went into chapters bookstore
and came out with
tarot reversals from mary k greer.
i was looking for 78 degrees of wisdom by rachel only i thought it was by mary k greer (us wendigos get things backwords eheh)
and i only saw the workbook by mary and i thought it was jsut a workbook didn't know it was a big study thing looking down in the study forums :O( eheh
so i got this book that called to me called tarot shadow work using the dark symbols to heal by christine jette
and i groaned aftr i brought it ..
grrrr now i have to learn my shadowself. see i honslty don't know why i brought it i just felt drawn to it it is really in depth a well i guess will have to get her prevous book tarot for the healing heart first.
oh and we were going to me a tarot deck too sooo
i couldn't pick from getting myself the whimsical, the tarot of oz or the native american tarot to replace i, or the connolly tarot to replace that or the robin wood tarot to replace that.
so i asked old mom to pick one out for me and she came out with the robin wood tarot
so i opened it and i honslty couldn't remember the artwork, it seemed allll new to me to be honest it been 10 years since i had it.

Hi Holmes
Glad you had a good weekend. And a profitable one - should keep you out of mischief for a while.!!!
I do get so jealous when I read of everyone here and their lovely new decks - takes me weeks to save up enough to even think about it - soooo expensive down here.

Hi Holmes,
The Mary K Greer 'Tarot for yourself' work book is a good one to work through, I'm finding it really interesting (I'm still very much a tarot newbie lol) - She tells you how to work out your soul, year, teacher cards etc. Then goes into depth on how to make the tarot work for your self improvement lol.
I cant resist buying when I go into bookshops either but here in the UK were I live to get to a good bookshop means to travel to the City so I tend to buy just books or decks I really need from online.
Infact, very pleased about this, my primary and most loved deck is the Spiral and for months I've been trying to track the book down that goes with this deck and last night I found it, and ordered it - so I'm on a high today lol (that was slightly off topic) :D
