which tarots have you lost? and which decks did you hate the most

i was checking on all the decks of aeclectic tarot and i was sad not for all the decks i can't have :O) but for the decks i lost. there are even tarot i had forgotten i had. 1. shakersperan tarot 2. servants of light tarot 3. i ching cards 4. uikoyoe tarot 5. medicine woman cards i give them to someone and the book and when i saw them on the webpage i felt immediate sadness 6. sacred path cards. 7. witches tarot. 8. tarot of moon garden. 9. angel tarot. 10. robin wood tarot, 11. aquarian trot. 12. sacred path cards. 13. sacred rose tarot and the book which i gave to my spiritual friend to read with. 14. universal waite tarot. 15. connoly tarot 16. arthurian tarot. 17. native american tarot 18. russian tarot of st peteraburg 19. voyager tarot and my tarot fo the southwest trips and gendragon tarot is missing birng it up to 21 tarots. oh yeah some shining woman tarot i think it was called with afican artwork i couldnt' relate ot it. out of these my favourite tarots were 1. the witches tarot 2. sacred apth cards. 3connoly tarot 4. native american tarot. aquarian tarot. i didnt' understnad the servants of the light tarot even thogh it came with the book it was one of my first deck so that is probally wy. shakespheran tarot. the russian tarot. and the tarot i didnt' like was the angel tarot due to its' artwork i couldnt' stand to look at it . i mean they were angels they deserved beutiful witches tarot artwork or ozo zen tarot artwork ah well. so do you guys ever feel a connection to the tarot you have lost ? i plan to buy most of them again sooner or later when i have the resources but looking at all the tarot gone missing that is a lot of decks. *prays to the tarot gods i am sorry* i know that is jking but i am do feel bad all the sudden like realizing what i have lost. for half those decks i have forgotten even. and to think of all the work i could of done.

The only deck I lost (I keep all my decks SAFE and don't ;et them RUN AWAY!!! MWA HA HA HA HA! }) ;)) was my first ever deck, when I was about 13... However, I have managed to obtain a copy through Ebay, and should be receiving it soon! :D The only Tarot deck that I have ever really really disliked, is the Haindl... It just scares the poo out of me! :D Kiama

Hm, the only decks I lost were my very first handmade cardboard only Major Arcana deck and the Tarot of Marseilles which I bought in France. Somwhow I did not manage to take them with me when I left my hometown (ok, I was in a hurry) some 10 years ago. Hey, Holmes, how did you manage to loose all these deck? Was there a fire or an earthquake?

Yes, I still grieve for my very first one. I managed to replace the Marseilles by one which is rather close to the original one but, it's still a replacement.

Lets see Iost the deck i made in highschool, a stupid major arcana deck i got free from a psychic service promotion, a rider waite, and a large thoth, and a wonderland deck but i messed up my Rohrig deck and im sad :( really only miss the wonderland as it was a present from my husband as for a deck i dont like, conolly :THP

i gave away a few decks just when i started out. those were mini rider-waites decks but i bought a new one all the time:) i traded away a few decks only to regret it. (the cosmic tarot) but i bought that one just this week. i traded some decks away twice - now i hope the beasts of albion stays put with catlin! they have a tendency to come home again:) i got a deck i hate - the royal tarot - and it is strange that i just don't throw it away, but i cannot do it! and it is much too ugly to give away - it would be like giving away a wilted flower...

I have never lost a deck thank Goddess (that could potentially kill me) ... I have purchsed and given away the Raider Waite twice, and traded the Gendron and Crow's Magick twice as well. I do not miss any of them anymore. Once I got them all the second time I remembered why I traded them. It was important to me, however, to know they would be going to good homes ... I am sentimental that way. I do not believe I could use the word "hate" in conjunction with any tarot deck ... it is simply to strong of a word. I do not even hate the decks I doubt would ever be in my home and I would not take for free ... I simply just do not care for them (more like indiference).

I was just feeling pleased with myself for not losing any decks when I realised my Tiny Universal Waite is missing - it was living beside my pc :( I expect it will turn up when we clear up but that won't be any time soon ;) I don't know about hating decks, but I was relieved to trade on the Visconti and the Art Nouveau by Matt Myers.

The only deck I ever lost was the Mythic tarot, but I was about twelve or thirteen at the time, so I didn't really have a concept of keeping track of things. (Not that I have that much more or a concept of keeping track of things now, over a decade later.) That was probobly my least favorite deck, it just never made anysense to me. When I read with it the readings were never right. Even as young as I was, I could figure that much out. A year of so later I got the Rider Waite deck and had a better time reading with it. And I still have it too, which is the amazing part. It survived me, for about twelve years and several moves. It's still with me. So I rewarded it by making it's own little tarot pouch. :)

My Aquarian Tarot went AWOL ages ago. I miss it a little bit, but these days I'd rather use the NJ or the Vertigo anyway.

Oh my. None of the decks I've ever had have 'disappeared', but they HAVE been destroyed before. :( It all came from lack of understanding and a little bit of Christian fanaticism - which makes me glad to not be a part of the church anymore. *L*

one was a big flood in the underground basement i used to stay in. the second was little cousins who like to play wit tarot cards adn bend thema nd rip them in half. and the third is a card would simply go miss and more cards would go missing so when i moved in feb from my place i stayed for a year i found some tarot cards were like half wys d0own in number so i said to the universe goodbye to the energies and let them go.

I've given away decks, but I don't believe I've ever lost a deck. My least favorite deck is the Crowley Troth Deck - it just gives me really bad vibes.

3 decks I didn't connect with were the Crows Magickal Tarot, the Gendron and Merry Day The ones I love are Thoth, Neferatari's and Visconti Gold

I've never lost a deck yet - I am pretty organized with my stuff. So far. I haven't been able to connect with the Unicorn deck, in fact, I doubt I will ever be able to read with it; there isn't anything there for me. I haven't been able to connect with the Thoth either, but maybe sometime.

I have given away one two decks the ancestral path and a version of the Toth. I could not work with them so why not let anyone else enjoy them ? :) Th decks i don't like are the Connoly, toth and Giger especially the Giger but he is was soooo cheap i could not resist it ;)

the deck i miss is the hermatic-- i traded it away some years ago when i wasn't quite ready for it... :confused: i have a difficult time with photo-generated/modified decks. i guess i prefer the brush to the keyboard (in my own artwork too) -- i'm old-fashioned that way. ;) LVX steve

Hi Jema, No chance to get back the Beasts of Albion. As I intend to go deeper into my Druid Animal Oracle I think this smaller one will be nice to accompagny me everywhere just as my second Legend, the Mini RW and my second Greenwood will do.
