Okay, I'm making this this the temporary Tarot Story forum until Solandia replies to my email. The rules are: No inapropriate words, themes, etc. Tell what deck you used and what card you picked. No more than ten sentences. (No run-ons) Lastly, have fun!

Once upon a time there was a young man, named John Doe, who was being educated in Harvard law. One day, John went back to his dorm and found a suprise package from his girl friend. "Aww, how nice of Jane," thought John. (His girlfriend's name was Jane Doe, no relation.) However, it said: "Do not open until 6:30 PM!" But knowing it was his girlfriend, who liked to play lots of practical jokes, was so tempted to open the package, that after awhile he couldn't resist. He opened it and inside was...

...the strangest mask he had ever seen. A soft, shimmering silver, it grinned eyelessly up at him. John's face peered back at him-- the reflection distorted eerily upon the left cheek, stretched from the temple to the chin. After his initial feeling of... -- not quite horror-- perhaps an unsettling rush of vertigo was all that he had felt.
He was tempted to close the box, wrap it back up and innocently await 6:30, but he knew it was too late to go back. He reached into the box and gingerly picked up the mask. It was as slippery to his hand as it had been to his eye, and, just as it cleared the top of the box, it slid through his fingers.
The mask fell slowly-- almost TOO slow-- and hit the floor in silence, landing on the edge of its left side. Then, as it teetered to the floor, there was a loud hissing sound, followed immediately by a crashing of thunders.

solandia replied to my e-mail about the tarot stories forum, and she said that we'd have to start the threads in the "general studies" tarot study forum, start the couple of threads, and get a lot of replies to the threads. so, i'm starting a new one in "general studies".
