I mean the card, not me. Or maybe I do mean me.
Who is your favorite Fool?
Being that the Fool is sort of my "totem" tarot card, and I tend to judge the rest of the deck by glimpsing at the Fool and the Moon cards, I have quite a few favorites.
I like the fools from both the Whimsicle (Oz's Scarecrow) and the Inner Child (Red Riding Hood) most, for different reasons.
Artwise, I like the contrasts between the Wild Spirit Tarot and the Vicoria Regina Versions.
And I still cant decide who is the better Fool in the Rock and Roll Tarot: Michael Stipe or the alternate card, Lou Reed.....

You know I don't think I have a favorite Fool card. I think the Robin Wood is the prettiest out of the ones that I have... and I like the one from the Goddess tarot too. That one shows the Goddess Tara and the card is called Beginnings.

Fools a hard one, dont think I have a favorite fool. Dont particularly like the World Spirit's, a woman walking off the edge of a roof, Rohrig has a bizarre one, a face half man, half woman, with a crocodile eating a tiger attached to the mans half of the head and a weird half jester cap with a feather on the females. I gues I like the old, tradional, Universal Waite fool.
Oh, I know, I like the Spiral Fool. It has a man kneeling in prayer with an angel behind him, I believe its Tobias if Im not mistaken. Its a very pretty card, and shows how our faiths sometimes makes us look like fools in others eyes.

my favorite is from the tarot of the spirit - the fool making the leap from the one - to darkness and possibility.
after that i agree about the spiral.
the prettiest one is the lady from the Feng shui deck. she isn't very typical for a fool though.

Mh... well... I feel a bit embarassed... but I think my favourite fool is the one from the Thoth.
And also the version AmouRa did of his 418 Tarot...

My new ancestral path tarot has a really interesting Fool card. It shows a tarot reader, seated with a round mirror behind her. She has cards laid in a semi circle in front of her and she is holding up a Fool card.... of herself. Clever imagery.
But I like the Robin Wood Fool the best.

I couldn't choose either at first, but I've decided Michael Stipe is the better Fool... ;)

I like the Osho Zen Fool even though I don't like the deck as a whole.
But my favorite is the Blue Rose Fool.

Hmmmm....it's hard for me to find a strong preference, here, but the PoMo Fool is pretty cool, and one I'm sure I've seen before in real life. ;)

My favorite fool is the one found in the Mountain Dream tarot. The expression on his face is absolutely perfect. :D

I like the Fool card in most decks. And many of my favorite Fools are already listed (Robin Wood's is the prettiest ;)); I love the Ancestral Path one too (very clever and tongue in cheek). I adore the Whimsical Tarot's Scarecrow from Oz as the fool, as well as the Halloween Tarot's clown as a Fool (the only clown I've seen that doesn't give me the heebie-jeebies (I don't like clowns)).

I don't like them much either... not after the movie Poltergeist! LOL ;)
If you don't like clowns you'd really not like the Fool from the Fantastical deck.

Ah! The Fool - My Favourite card... and one that I find difficult to find a deck that I really *like*... Of course I am going to mention the Cosmic Tribe fool again... I think it says everything the fool should...
WARNING: I am going to blow my own trumpet again...
I have drawn the Fool so many times and only when I really like the Fool do I continue working on a deck... but the version from Kayne's Celtic Tarot is still one of my best...

Kayne you and I are like broken records when it comes to favorites and the Cosmic Tribe *LOL*. I just have one thing to say ... ditto!.
Another Fool card I really like is the Tarot of the Old Path Fool. He has various routes to choose, there is the scene of the mother rescuing the baby before its curiosity about the fire gets him literally burned. I would have to say those are my favorite 2.

EVEN LILIANA didn't mention World Spirit and Rohrig as favourite cards...

This is a tough call for me, but I think I will say the World Spirit. Now that I realize how many of my favorites are out of that deck, I *really* need to get it!

So suggesting Steven King/Tim Curry Themed Tarot deck might be out of the question? :D

Mmmmm . . . the good ol' Aquarian. Nothing particularly unique about it; I just think it's a great picture.

I find it difficult to name a favourite fool, it just strikes me most decks use the same symbolism. But I think the fool of the Art Nouvea is more good looking than Robin Wood's ;)
My favourite "zero card" would be the shapeshifters, but the card is called Initiation and there's just so much motion and energy in it.

I relate well to the Fool. I do street performance, and I always keep the Fool in mind as I get into my performing mindset. I guess my favorite Fool is the one I become when I get into costume and pick up my props...
But you mean Fools on cards. I like the one in Karma Tarot -- he has just the right degree of scruffiness, and so does the Wild Spirit Fool. I also like the Tarot Nova Fool, who is riding a cat, and the Rohrig one, too.
