What about Favourite Lovers Card then?

Boy, what a toughie. This isn't a card that really stands out in any of the decks I own or have owned. While I'm not a fan of the actual art, I like the fact that the Cosmic Tribe includes Lovers cards for alternate sexual orientations. My least favorites, hands down, are the ones in the Book of Chaos and the Secret Tarots.

I was going to sa the lovers of the Art Nouveau or Shapeshifter since both are pretty...then I remembered I'd seen a beautiful lovers card in the not yet published Fey deck: http://www.tarotpassages.com/LSpreview1.htm If the wonders of technology are with us this link should bring you to it and sccroll down the page. Talk of opposites attracting, really love it ! BTW does anyone know when this deck is going to be published ? I heard a whisper here in September, is there a site we can check this ?

That would be the Victoria Regina Lovers for me. I love the bittersweet tone it has. Although I gotta admit that the David Bowie card in the Rock and Roll Tarot is pretty funny....

My favourite lovers card is from the robin wood. They look so in love and balanced:) And the Legend lovers is also gorgeous. A couple walking in a beautiful autumn wood. Makes me wannabe in love;)

The Lovers is one of my favorite cards. Liking this one is pretty important to my liking a deck. Favorites include: The Rohrig. I just love that in the middle of this (over)sexed deck, you have this beautiful, idyllic depiction of intimacy. They're even cuddling! The Myers Art Nouveau. Just plain gorgeous. Actually, it and the Rohrig Lovers are rather similar in my opinion. The Gendron. I really love the color and the detail -- there's even a baby! The Legend Arthurian. Actually, the card isn't as attractive as many in that deck, but I love the legend used, Gareth and Lyones. The Faery Wicca. Overall I'm not wild about this deck, but the two trees with the lovers' faces are just breathtaking. Love is eternal. Obviously, I prefer just two people on the card, and a happy spin.

The Lovers card is important to me when choosing a deck too, since it's my personality and soul card. I like the card best when it portrays the idea of a choice as well as actual lovers. My fave is the one in my head, I'll try to describe for you.... I'm going to attempt a deck based on the Chronicles of Narnia (don't groan please ;) ) and the Lovers card would be Mr. Tumnus the faun with his umbrella and his parcels having to choose between our virtuous heroine, Lucy and the evil, murderous White Witch, Jadis. I've always loved his little moment of conflict! "I'm such a bad, bad faun!" LOL Rhiannon :)

Reserve me a copy of the Chronicles of Narnia deck too, I love that series :) I never realised how many Lovers cards I like. Of course I love the warm intimacy of the Rohrig Lovers, and I absolutely adore the Yin/Yang and undeterminate sex of the World Spirit Lovers. Spiral has the most passionate spiritual Lovers and is great art, and I always liked the traditional Universal Waite Lovers as Adam and Eve with the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge in the background. And I like the Book of Chaos Lovers, but to like that deck at all you have to be a very passionate person. The artist is a ver passionate, if odd, man I think thats what attracts me to his art, he has very strange ideas but in some warped way I can understand and appreciate what he doing. He is a lot like a modern day Crowley tho, you have to read his whole site to understand his mad genius hehe. :THP

The Whimsical Tarot's "Beauty and the Beast" Lovers; I love that story and I think it's fitting with how love can tame the wildness in us all and changes us, usually for the better. :T6P Starfish

right now, even tho i haven't held this card in my hands yet, is the lovers card from the ananda deck. it completely enthralls me. there's a large read rose in front then in the background is a cloudlike formation of what appears to be a man kissing a woman in the forehead. the man looks like jesus but who knows what the artist meant. this card has such a spiritual feel.

AAAWWWWW!!!! I forgot how much I loved the New Palladini LOvers too. Those two peaceful faces in that generous wilderness... Makes me feel so free and calm, I almmost breathe that air, that love... Thanks emily2otters!!! :D And the Ananda card is GORGEOUS!!! I think there's not an english version of the Ananda, right? I really think I should go and dig up that thread... I also ADORE The Shakesperian Lovers too, so intimate, so undercover-like... ;) *LOL* I hope I can find the card online...

i think i can get you a scan that you can print on much bigger format that will look good when you print it. you need a big mailbox, around 10MB or bigger so i can stuff it in there :-) kaz

I really like the Lovers from the World Spirit but it`s possibly because I appear to be in love with this deck at the moment, I also like the serene couple in the New Palladini. Blessings Crystalmynx

I have this deck and the card is more breathtaking in person than online ... get ready for a treat Truthsayer.
