What Would You Do If ..

HOLMES  16 Jul 2002
i was reading in that book essential reiki and they charge like 100000 the traditional reiki to become a master.
now i was all supportive of sylvia browne charging 700 for her readings(refer to that thread)
and i was thinking wow.

what if there was a tarot attunement for each card ? or decks even. and we had to pay 1000 dollars just to be attuned.

orr how about it.

ever since i was in highschool i was wishing there be a full blown full time school for channeling, tarot readings, and advanced bodywork. all seperate of course, but some coures woud switch over particulary chaneling and tarot, and channeling and bodywork.

imagine paying university courses for tarot mastership.
with psychology, astralogy, numerlogy, mediation, shadow work, philosphy, religions, cultures, spiritual teachings example runes, native teachings and beliefs, animal teachings, long lost egyptian gods such. the college would have real professors teaching , and extra stuff could be like paraspyschology, chakras, buddhasism.
yes it is all well and good. but where would the tarot come into the play.. it sure in heck doesn't take that long to learn to read.
(this stuff just relates to the tarot)

for bodywork
(charkras, massae, reflexology, chripopactor, shaitsu, jins shin do. jthe meridan stomach massage.polar therapy, and you would have to know pyshcology for stuff like energy release and emotional release. this is just for examples
in the end you will know all the body works, and all the energy sytems.
you can have the option of becoming a professor by teaching and resarching after 5 years. or such.

see one aspect would be totally on the body, and the other on spirituaity.

and aye it doesn't and my idea i had when i was a highschool kid was that it not be a secret order like old golden dawn which i know nothing about. and the movie harry potter and star wars espide two where yoda was teaching. it reminded me of a long lost dream.
to go and study all that stuff. and make a school like that.

i know it is just a dream but dreams can become realities.
i heard of pyshic schools before but they are hardly ever full time.
and even barbara ann brennen school of healing which i want to go through so bad has 5 times year 5 days
and you are required to do all the homework and have 18 sessins with counselors. and it costs like 5, 500 maybe it is up to 6000 now a year.

the full time means you will never be alone, and the school could be set up to not ony help you learn all this stuff but it is essential to learn about yourself so you get counseloring in the school.
such a school would truly be a school of light.
if such a place could ever be established like a full time university god we would become so accepted everywhere

in your posts i only ask that you think of this with an open mind. and to think in terms of its possiblities , when would it be possible to do it, and such.

Linda Goodman, in her books, spoke many times of ideas like this. She lamented that regular schools were so lacking in teaching children these skills which they needed so badly in order to live a full life. She felt that if children were taught, along with 'normal' subjects, astrology, numerology, and so on (she didn't mention healing practices but I think they would be essential as well). The thing is, it doesn't have to be a separate school, it needs to be recognized as a part of the education needed to be fully human and a well-functioning member of the race.

I've often dreamed of a school like this too! I'm in college to become an elementary teacher & one day, who knows? My American ancestors started a college in Tennessee; one day I might start a school that incorporates 'normal' subjects for kids along with metaphysical subjects. Also, I saw on a website once a *real* wizard's school for kids, much like the Harry Potter thing. It was teaching kids about color correspondances, magic, etc. I'll try to find it again if anyone is interested.

i agree w/ you absolutely, holmes. i know there are such schools for adults but nothing for children as far as i know. there's the joseph campbell college(name correct?) in california. atlantic university in virginia beach. the tarot school in newyork. there's also the omega institute somewhere in ny that does week and weekend retreats. the problem w/ these schools is their distance from me and the prohibitive costs.

perhaps one day you'll be able to go to such a school. i know it would be a meaningful experienced for you. are there any day workshops that are cheaper?
